  • Far too many people aren't told that they have blood cancer at diagnosis - they end up finding out from Google, or sometimes not at all.
People with with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma or any of the 100+ different types of blood cancer are missing out on being part of this incredible, supportive community. That’s why this Blood Cancer Awareness Month we're encouraging everyone to #SayBloodCancer and help raise awareness ❤️
Please watch and share this important message from Stephen Fry and people living with blood cancer.

My wife died from AML back in 1998, now I was diagnosed with CLL 3 years ago. The forum on the Blood Cancer website is very helpful and informative.

My 36 year old son was diagnosed with stage 4 blood cancer,Hodgkin Lymphoma in August 2022.With a partner and 2 little boys under 5 it was the worst news.He lives and works in Berlin and his subsequent treatment there has seen him go into remission.I support Blood Cancer uk because I believe in research for everyone and because blood cancer is not enough at the forefront of the fight against this disease. I say "Blood Cancer"

Does your son know that Otto warburg won two Nobel prizes for curing terminal cancers using just oxygen? Or another nobel prize for a Japanese guy who cured cancers using ivermectin..banned for us...or that parasites eggs are indistinguishable from cancer cells? Look outside big pharma's chemotherapy....

I was diagnosed with NHL in 2019. No remission yet. The information and support from the NHS. Has been non-existent. I rely on the internet and changed what I eat, gave up sugar and alcohol etc.
Had one course of chemotherapy in 2020 at stage 4. Didn't reduce all of cancer. Sent home, been here since. Had plenty of infections and the lymph nodes in my neck are huge.
G.P is, next to pointless too.
It's like the doctor's take a test book or big pharma's word, over that, of the patient.

What about Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) ? It doesn’t get mentioned enough compared to others.

Hi David, we've recently published a new booklet all about MDS, and have been sharing weekly stories from people living with it over on our Instagram and Facebook channels. You can find more information on MDS, including plenty of personal stories on Living Well with MDS over on our website here bloodcancer.org.uk/understanding-blood-cancer/myelodysplastic-syndromes-mds/#living-well-with-mds
