More U.T.A. This group is highly underrated in my opinion. Your reaction was spot on with everything.

You found my favorite Canadian rock group... found them on YT LAST NOVEMBER. After hearing some of their videos I went out and bought 4 of their albums. This one is great from an instrumental visual point of view but if you want to hear another good 1 go to
    TONIGHT WE RIDE.

IMMORTAL IS MORE THAN A NAME!
    AWAKENING (2017)
To look up into the night's sky, to see the stars they are changed
To know a thousand years or more have passed, and I am the same
This mountain hollow that keeps me in a suffocating embrace
A prison and a safe haven, it's always been this way
Lo, a new master calls me to awakening, I know this one brings the end
Far out beyond the darkness I've been living in it's true, a whole new world awaits
Stellar constellations rise, lighting my way in the night
Once again revitalized, to roam; to never die
My path begins with the new dawn; a voice is calling my name
It always starts as whispering then manifests to a scream
I'm drawn to the creature that wakes me, bound to them by the curse
My soul exists only to serve, a covenant of birth
Fear not the task ahead there's no escaping it, there's no good nor evil here
Stellar constellations rise, lighting my way in the night
Once again revitalized, to roam; to never die
    Come to me, awakening
Follow my voice, come to me
Fear not the task ahead there's no escaping it, there's no good nor evil here
Stellar constellations rise, lighting my way in the night
Once again revitalized, to roam; to never
Lighting my way in the night
    To roam; to never die

Loved the drumming. The guitar was incredible as well. And of course great vocals. In short, everything was amazing.

Power Metal at it's finest. Some of my favorites are Cleanse the Bloodlines, Abyss, Spellbound and an older song Time Stands Still. For something really fun Brittney singing in a karoke bar in Scotland after doing a full show. ruclips.net/video/280DRqoGyLw/видео.html. Also love her in Star One singing a Terminator inspired song, Fate of Man. This song is the beginning of the Immortal storyline that is the basis for their last two albums. The Immortal is a cursed creature who sleeps in a mountain and when awakened, must obey the person who wakes them up. In this song he is awakened by the Matriarch who sends him to find her sons so she can kill them in a blood ritual and achieve immortality herself.

Just saying, you need to react to every song on Awakening and Abyss.
The whole story is amazing -- from Abyss to The Wind That Shapes The Land.
    Give it a go!
Besides: I know of one channel, Captain Facebeard, who is Canadian, and actually cried tears of joy hearing Northwest Passage, a song many of us Archers call "Canada's Unofficial National Anthem."

    Bet you're awake now?
Got the same problem with the radio, here in Germany: soooo much of the really good stuff: they don't play it!
Let me mention 4: The Pretty Reckless; Devin Townsend; Halestorm and a new ly found symphonic metal band from the Ukraine: IGNEA. You wight wanna react to their song "Alga".
    Love and peace!

You should start getting into the Japanese metal scene, especially the female fronted bands and all-female bands that they have. It’s some of the best music I currently and will always listen to

Tried to like them but sorry they annoyed me. And also the singing. They try to much to reach the big ones 🤓. Remind me of the over the top japanese female japanese bands. Lots of skill, fast playing but no real feel for the music. 👎

      Sorry to hear that.
I would recommend actually hearing The Wind That Shapes The Land, probably one of the best climactic songs I've ever heard.
