I am also contemplating selling my Chanel Jumbo as well as I just don't reach for it. I feel like it is a dressy design but the size is not dressy. So not perfect for casual or dressy but it was my first Chanel bag and I just don't seem to be able to let go. Just FYI, I’m a curvy lady and the Chanel WOC suits me for all the reasons you don’t like it and I understand why the length can be a problem for a lot of people. It has a great chain length for me as it doesn’t sit under my armpit 🥰. I’m happy to downsize and like you said the low profile really works for me. I find it very low key for travel as it is packs away nicely in my larger bags for security. Thanks for sharing your videos!
Deb New I like the long chains too!! I’m curvy too and own the Chanel jumbo, with the longer chain I can wear it crossbody and it hits my body perfectly!!! But most would say it’s too long single strapped!
yes, you're right about colorful bag is safer in smaller size. I own 2 medium black bags for work and daily and I'd like add a small one with crazy color!

Sold: Dior Diorama wallet on chain (the pastel beige color didn't suit the color palette of my clothes) Neverfull mm monogramme (Felt uncomfortable wearing it because it's so well known and a bit flashy. Although, I still find it gorgeous whenever I see other people wearing it) Chanel medallion tote caviar bag (a bit heavy and straps not the most comfortable) LV Totally MM in Ebene (completely pristine bag even after wearing it but the print was too formal for my outfits) Hermes Herbag (felt a bit cheap with the cotton fabric and the leather was very boxy and didn't feel luxurious) Chanel Lambskin Beige flap (gorgeous bag but never wore it because was scared to get it dirty) Gucci Velvet Marmont Bag in Black (Was fearing that it might go out of style/trend so sold it before that happens) Chanel card holder, the one with a flap (was using it as a wallet but then realize my cash pops out)

I have too realised that I dont need many black bags and have instead been gravitating towards colour now that my collection is slowly growing. I think brightly coloured hermes bags are particularly stunning and I think I would reach for those more than a black birkin too!

I completely agree with you in the beginning, I have a fairly big collection bag ( 30+ luxury ) and even though I don’t wear some of them a lot, I just can’t sell them! I’m very attached to all of them , they bring me memories and I have a huge fear of people scamming or cancelling payments, etc etc, I’ve heard some scary horror stories! So it just keeps on growing! I’m not mad about that at all though 😂
The biggest mistake a lot of people make is the whole "black bag" obsession. I am all for having a black bag but when one decides to collect any style bag in just black it makes someone look basic and without style. No one is really getting blown away by seeing someone with a black Birkin, black Chanel, black black black. I love how you combine your bags in different colors!

I'm so glad my first Chanel Bag was a 2.55 reissue vs a WOC. Even though it's a little bit more $$, it was a better investment! Also I just bought a insert for my TPM, even though its smaller than the 29, but still I even felt like things were bulging on the side of the bag. Happy 2020!

Just wanted to say how heartbreaking it is to see the violent bushfires in your country. Australia has always had such a special place in my heart, and it has such a majestic nature and wildlife. Truly hope it will be possible to get this cruel fire under control soon.
My absolute fave kind of video! So informative... So this year I went bag crazy but sold quite a few items. My Lady Dior abc version colour blush pink, Givenchy antigona mini size colour Tan, celine nano luggage in Red, LV pochette metis (canvas), Chanel mini reissue colour beige , LV Alma bb in DE & lastly my Birkin 30 Rose Pourpre. I just wasn't using everything and I was rather overwhelmed. Im actually thinking of selling my Nice Mini & PSM backpack. I think a really small collection suits me... under 10 bags is plenty for my lifestyle.
Could it be that you maybe didn't use the Hermès Birkin in black that much, because Hermès has all those beautiful, vibrant colours? If I could CHOOSE the colour of a Kelly or a Birkin, I very probably wouldn't go for black, even though I, too, love black bags; but the colours of the House Hermès are simply stunning and very tempting 😍😉! I’m thinking about selling my LV ellipse mm, but I’m torn because it’s one of my very first purchased luxury bag and I have a weird sentimental attachment to it, and yet I’m never grabbing it and see people seeking out for it. I’m going to hang on to it for now. It’s like first love or something like that lol.

About bags: I have only one designer bag and plenty others called as lower designers as Michael Kors and Kate spade and I totally agree with you! Heavier bags, straps that falls from shoulder, difficulty to use, bags that ruin your clothes ( yes I had one) are deal breaker for me too. Don't bother if people says: oh a birkin! I prefer bags with one compartment as I can’t stand rummaging through pockets etc. also love a top handle or a cross body but not a top handle used as a crossbody if that makes sense. One or the other form me. You have had some beautiful bags Mel 💼

I've sold my Givenchy Pandorra in medium (too bulky and you cannot put the bag down because of the shape) Vintage lady Dior Bag in medium size, the opening annoyed me and it looked akward with an shoulder strap. And the overall look doesn't look good on me

I own the Cluny BB and I didn’t like the non-adjustments shoulder strap also. But I started using the Noe Neo strap with it instead and it’s worked out well.

Just wanted to say how heartbreaking it is to see the violent bushfires in your country. Australia has always had such a special place in my heart, and it has such a majestic nature and wildlife. Truly hope it will be possible to get this cruel fire under control soon.
My absolute fave kind of video! So informative... So this year I went bag crazy but sold quite a few items. My Lady Dior abc version colour blush pink, Givenchy antigona mini size colour Tan, celine nano luggage in Red, LV pochette metis (canvas), Chanel mini reissue colour beige , LV Alma bb in DE & lastly my Birkin 30 Rose Pourpre. I just wasn't using everything and I was rather overwhelmed. Im actually thinking of selling my Nice Mini & PSM backpack. I think a really small collection suits me... under 10 bags is plenty for my lifestyle.
Could it be that you maybe didn't use the Hermès Birkin in black that much, because Hermès has all those beautiful, vibrant colours? If I could CHOOSE the colour of a Kelly or a Birkin, I very probably wouldn't go for black, even though I, too, love black bags; but the colours of the House Hermès are simply stunning and very tempting 😍😉!

I’m thinking about selling my LV ellipse mm, but I’m torn because it’s one of my very first purchased luxury bag and I have a weird sentimental attachment to it, and yet I’m never grabbing it and see people seeking out for it. About bags: I have only one designer bag and plenty others called as lower designers as Michael Kors and Kate spade and I totally agree with you! Heavier bags, straps that falls from shoulder, difficulty to use, bags that ruin your clothes ( yes I had one) are deal breaker for me too. Don't bother if people says: oh a birkin! Hi Mel, I agree with all your choices including the B30. I’m not a fan of B30 in epsom too. but then again I haven’t seen one in real life. Lol. Btw may I know how do you normally sell your bags? Lamb skin seems to wear better and not be as fragile in the older Chanel bags. So if I want another lambskin I would definitely by preowned
I prefer bags with one compartment as I can’t stand rummaging through pockets etc. also love a top handle or a cross body but not a top handle used as a crossbody if that makes sense. One or the other form me. You have had some beautiful bags Mel 💼

Vintage lady Dior Bag in medium size, the opening annoyed me and it looked akward with an shoulder strap. And the overall look doesn't look good on me

I own the Cluny BB and I didn’t like the non-adjustments shoulder strap also. But I started using the Noe Neo strap with it instead and it’s worked out well.
