NEXT LESSON JIMIS TONE?? Your Choice- Let me know X
yes, what the last guy said, great lesson, throw in the effects whilst showing the licks too... ive been noodling around for many years and im embarrassed to say i need to learn the other penatonic shapes above and below the standard position... more on that would be good? cheers
come back to this one every now and then - I totally get the "I kinda cracked the code" excitement you must have had back then - its SOOOOO helpful!!!
Also the attention to detail when it comes to dynamics - great lesson!
Genuinely the best lesson on playing like Jimi. Keep coming back to this one. Thanks Ritchie!
Love watching your right hand. Nice playin man.
Thank you so much Richie, this is a fantastic video.
I'm so glad I've discovered this channel. In about a week, my guitar game, which was already decent, has improved dramatically! My blues playing has improved and this lesson here is adding other pieces that I can incorporate. For me, being a good guitarist means allowing yourself the freedom to explore and incorporate different components into your playing. I've got a tremendous appreciation for this channel!
Thank you SO MUCH , that’s a really uplifting comment ! I sincerely appreciate it ⚡️⚡️
@@FretJunkies Thank you, friend. But believe me, it is me who appreciates!

Thanks Brad, I appreciate it. Easy for a Player like you :]
This is one of the best lessons on Hendrix playing
Thank you !!
Explained simply, beautifully, it opens a new world to explore.thanks brother Richy. Now I put in the work and hope I sound as good as you one day soon. Peace brother.
Awesome stuff man, Very happy to see the lesson helping :]
That guitar and that amp have been my favorite combination you use in your videos. This is a really damn good lesson. I found that when I started playing the Hendrix style of fingerings for major bar chords my entire playing style changed and revolved around it. It became more expressive and was what I have now realized...more of a style that I enjoy playing. it is more creative and musically pleasing. Sure there are days I play like straight ass. But then there are days that I get lost and a bit teary eyed playing. And that's why I play.
Great sounds that's what I needed to watch nice tone thanks very much appreciated Rich California
Awesome lesson man! Really liked the "simple" call-response approach :), looking forward to understand how to incorporate the chords progression
Just waiting for this channel to blow up. Really valuable, usable lessons. Cheers mate and thank you for the brilliant content
Dan Strommer Hey man , thank you for this comment !! It honestly means a lot to me reading these ⚡️⚡️
Brilliant!
I’ve seen a few similar lessons but you make it real and fairly simple Richie- a big thank you for this. Been noodling every day and can’t wait for the tone lesson!
Great video mate! So much mind boggling stuff out there but this just makes sense. Cheers.
Brilliant lesson. I agree with you. I also think you cracked Jimi's method. Jimi was amazing at improvising. Seems like you just need to follow your ear and not over think it.
I’m hearing a lot of life without you srv 👍good job man , you’ve re lit the spark for me (#stuckinarut)👌
Awesome, thank you for stopping by ⚡️
Yup, hearing that too...big time. One of my all time Favorites.
Strats sound better in E flat as you demonstrated some smooth tones. Thanks for the lesson. Good stuff as always 💪🏼
Thanks buddy ! Glad to see it reaching you ⚡️⚡️
I think it depends on the strat I have one that sounds terrible in Eb but punchy and thick in Standard as well as one that clearly sounds better in Eb
Great vid, thanks man 👌
I’m subscribed to many guitar channels, and only just found this one.
Really really good man! Seriously. Up there with Brett Papa. Got a lot from this lesson.

I already have a 1967 100 watt super bass , and purple strat i made , and know all the jimi
Beautiful Guitar! What model is that? I’ve been looking at the older reissued MIM. Does that have the 7.25 radius neck?
Thank you ! This was a 62 Strat ☺️⚡️⚡️
New to ur channel but this is a great video thnks!
Thank you for stopping by 😊
brilliant
Thanks Ramon ❤️
Hi mate, i have a nooby question, i want to tube down my strat Eb, but someone told me i should buy another one and leave standard tunning on this one cause it not good for for the guitare... his this true...
By the way, thanks for the inspiration you give US!
Absolutely fine mate - zero damage will be caused and if your really worried - up a gauge in strings as you drop down a step in tuning 👍🏽
Great subscribed 🇫🇷👍🏼🍒
So let me ask a question that seemingly has a secretive answer. Is there one fender amp that can be used for clean and breakup then overdrive soaring lead tones.
jmnjoe1 hey there !! Hmmmmm I’m not sure I know if anything like that , but a GOOD fuzz up front could answer that 😊
F-ing excellent. You should have more views and subscribers.
Thank you 😊
Can you show what pentatonics you are using @ 5 :00. ?
What year is that Strat????
Hey Fret, could you please say what color your strat has, is this the olympic white or a different white? I´just ordered one in olympic white, but your strat looks much brighter. I am just a beginner, but your style is absolutly amazing. Greetings.
Hi Mike thank you for the comment 😊
Yeah mine is an Olympic white but I have colour graded the footage so may look slightly different than in the flesh ⭕️
You got some tabs to help us learn it? Thanks
Hi. Someone can give this jimi jam on start video?
At 7:12 --you are playing A MINOR open chord --using what scale ???
Good lesson. Where is his accent from? I can't place it.
Newport , South Wales !
@@FretJunkies badass. good stuff!
You're Strat is amazing. What year?
THANKS Jerry its a 62 Refinish :]
Minor pentatonic pos 4 when you are in minor chord with root on 5 string right?
Exactly that buddy, its all the same i guess its just the difference in each persons thought process that makes things interesting :]
Fret Junkies Incredible tone and touch as always!
I was taught A minor pentatonic SCALE--- 20 yrs ago - over an A CHORD ---but you are using ANOTHER scale ! I am really confused !
Wait --something is all wrong --you play the A major chord in the beginning --and the scale ? A Minor pentatonic from top E --is 5--8 ,5----8., 5 ---7
5---7 ,5---7 ,5 ----8 ? So what that weird scale you are using ?
