THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS, the amount of times ive heard fans go way too far off the deep end with thier theories. This synopsis of this scene was perfect, thats exactly what i watched 😊
Shoko isn't exactly playing with a full deck herself if you get what I mean In the anime, she looked a little too excited to mess with Yuji's dead body and she has dark outlines around her eyes which could imply she is a little cray cray or just like... super exhausted all of the time LOL
‘i can talk for 30 minutes straight about how poetic this moment is’ dude, i feel ya sm. agreed, that scene was even more painful than gojo meeting kenjaku
If you have a best friend or friend like this irl you'll understand. Someone with mental issues or addictions you'll kinda understand and become numb to everything after a while. You hate what's happening but you also real about your abilities to help. All you can do is give an ear to a friend. As the saying goes you can't save someone who doesn't want to be saved.
@@flowerbloom5782 Kinda, yea. Being a Jujutsu sorcerer is hell on earth and you're doing it for people who ideally are never going to know the kind of sacrifices you or your comrades make for their peace of mind and safety. On top of that Jujutsu itself is somewhat of an isolating variable that could very well alienate sorcerers from regular people. Even if I think Geto fucking snapped and needed to be dealt with, I can absolutely see it being incredibly common for Sorcerers to be indifferent/apathetic to the general populace
Its not that stupid in real life most people hear their friend is a mass murder they stop going near them or stay in fear which is normal and logical but she did not its actually a good question and a nice perspective at different personalities and views considering her job makes her pretty fearless in the face of death and the value of their friendship
@@animelover12261 that's a situation lacking context though. In this situation gojo most likely already spoke to shoko about the conversation they had after rikos death. Shoko understands why geto killed just ass the video was highlighting. If I knew I was under no threat of getting murdered by said friend I'd definitely also have a talk with them. Plus you gotta remember these ppl got superpowers man, they can actually defend themselves unlike us fragile meat sacks
She was training to be a doctor at the time. She probably dissociated when she started coming across corpses of people she had known and people who ended up collateral. nd that carried over for a long time
Truly it comes down to she knew she couldn't actually fight him, and also since his violence is directed towards non-sorcerers, he wouldn't attach her unprovoked. So why not have one last chat with the guy?
makes sense. she outlived almost all of her friends. (utahime and ijichi being the exception who both also conveniently disappeared in the same chapter )
The fact that the first thing I thought when this scene started was "Shoko is about to die" already told me why she was so chill. Because she probably thought the same thing.
I would imagine getos mindset is something that deep down, a lot of sorcerers heavily contemplate. It's made clear that sorcerers have to be "crazy", and at the end of the day, many of them are not good people. I imagine that many of their reactions to getos turn were "huh, so someone's actually gonna try it?" And shoko being his friend, and much weaker than him, would rather try to talk to him and understand him than provoke him
I thought this was obvious? It's like talking to the serial killer that you don't want to get made a next target of. I thought that scene was perfectly directed and was successful at giving the vibe of meeting an old friend that's an awful criminal now, so both peoples guards are up and the conversation just doesn't feel right.
Would sukuna be able to land a black flash at will, if he sees Yuji do it? (Considering what Angel said about him only needing to see kenjaku splitting his soul once) Also thank you for the amazing videos, keep it up
I always wondered how shoko didn’t notice getos depression? She was at the school more than gojo and although she was healing everyone I’m sure she had time to speak with geto. I found it odd how we never saw her point of view in the inventory arc.
That interaction might be one of the most mature and interesting interactions in all anime… and people still get mad at JJK winning all awards… no guys, you clearly didn’t get it. Maybe only adults can get it in a way?
I think so, JJK appealed very highly for me since it felt much more mature. Gege gave respect and depth almost to every characters, almost every character is likable in their own way that it's actually hard to say if I actually have character I dislike.
Before I listen, I've already been thinking about that since I've seen the episode the first time. tl;dr Jujutsu sorcerers are built different. They pretty much only get phased by things that comedically annoy them in average life. The longer version is just death doesn't bother Shoko that much. She straight up became a coroner or whatever the hell that job is called a few years after this. Now, it did cause her some grief, she's not inhumane and she does verbally lament about it but she's not traumatized...like an average person would understandably be. I'm still going on because this fascinates me lol Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man really bring it home about how you need to be built different to handle a job like this. Honestly, sorcerers seem much more aloof than devil hunters. Even tho the average DH is probably an actual adult. I just love this since again, the average human being would not be whelmed at all while most teens in the show seem to *enjoy* their job. It's wild and in a way, it makes it more believable because reasonable people would not be joyed to see flying curses.
He didn’t mind. He knew that was a reasonable thing for her to do which is why he didn’t do anything about it. He wasn’t there to be a threat and didn’t plan on confronting her. He was there to explain a bit of his thought process. He went there because shoko is open enough to listen. She was also safe because she is a sorcerer.
What's weird is that it seems like she doesn't care and the fact that she's so chill about that. It was her best friend and he just murdered 120 people. If that doesn't phase you then what does? The least she could do is try and reason with him, don't make fun of him and joke around in such situations, things are serious
If I was Geto my heart would've sank like when the principal calls your mom after you just got in trouble, when Shoko phones Gojo. Brother get ready for that ass whooping because it's coming.
to be fair to Shoko, Geto rarely, if ever wanted to actually kill any Sorcerers, ones that didn't have Heavenly Pacts anyway. the only reason he targeted Yuta was because of Rika.
1. Dude went racist against none sorcerers so shes in the clear its nothing personal against her 2. Shes outclassed so no point fighting him it would achieve nothing 3. He's her friend being chill might actually turn him around or get info on the matter (ie: "did you actually do this?") As far as she knew maybe the higher ups wanted him gone and it was all a lie and she was ready to be on his side if that was the case 4. She knows even if she calls Gojo he wont hurt her

Second. It makes the most sense
I agree
I mean,we never got even a hint at Yuji using BM until after it's implied he ate the rest of the cursed wombs,so the second one makes the most sense
He’s related to choso through kenjaku who at one point was noritoshi Kamo, but as he’s not kamo anymore and probably doesn’t have blood manipulation anymore he couldn’t have gotten from Kenny.
Lasuli as always thank you so much for the continued support 🙏🏻
I just put out this video where I address your question: ruclips.net/video/NJGOsTsv4vU/видео.htmlsi=aRFvdR5qFiEd5y6z
But please also check out this older video where I go more in depth on the subject: ruclips.net/video/syQJMFO4Olc/видео.html
She always smoking ZaZa, what do you expect?
That's why she's so chill 🗣️🔥
Honestly i'd like to see you talk for 30 minutes about the gojo and geto bit. It's just a really interesting scene
I just love how level headed Shoko is
Shoko is still his friend. It's not like she hid him from the authorities or protected him.
Geto killing his parents was crazy to me
honestly same
Yeah . I mean normally people go from . To this ........ but he started with his killing his parents that means he started from this .........
that's something i like a lot with how gege protrayed sorcerers...
there's a lot we can't understand at first with them bcs we don't how it feels to live their lives with their powers and sht
Bro really is answering EVERY questions we have (even those we forget lol)💯🔥🔥
(Before watching) imo she's not chill, neither afraid to die, the manga probably did a better job in this scene I think, she's just good at hiding her emotions, too good in fact
Plot twist: she went 40 Heinekens in last night and was crazy hung over.
She was calm because she had gojo on speed dial 😂😂😂
The types of dynamic and relationships in this story is very interesting and conflicting
"Throughout the karens and the stoners, I alone do not give a f&%k."
- Shoko
yall in the comments Geto wouldn't murder shoko
tf 😭😭
Geto was insane but for a reason
She was literally calling gojo
Shoko fr just went "Understandable, have a nice day"
Shoko jus dont give a f
I would’ve reacted the same way. Wtf am I supposed to do?! She was calm, asked the important questions, and did what she needed to do Lol
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS, the amount of times ive heard fans go way too far off the deep end with thier theories. This synopsis of this scene was perfect, thats exactly what i watched 😊
Shoko isn't exactly playing with a full deck herself if you get what I mean
In the anime, she looked a little too excited to mess with Yuji's dead body and she has dark outlines around her eyes which could imply she is a little cray cray or just like... super exhausted all of the time LOL
And no one thought that if she sided with her friend, Gojo could also destroy her in the blink of an eye. A poor girl.
‘i can talk for 30 minutes straight about how poetic this moment is’
dude, i feel ya sm. agreed, that scene was even more painful than gojo meeting kenjaku
I adore your love for JJK and Gojo. Almost mirrors mine 😊
If you have a best friend or friend like this irl you'll understand. Someone with mental issues or addictions you'll kinda understand and become numb to everything after a while. You hate what's happening but you also real about your abilities to help. All you can do is give an ear to a friend. As the saying goes you can't save someone who doesn't want to be saved.
are you the sanest because you're shoko or are you shoko because you're the sanest
Shoko is a very rational and pragmatic person above all else
She literally says on the phone call with Gojo “I don’t wanna get killed”, she understands that even Geto is still stupidly strong in his own right.
No real reason to be afraid of him when she's a sorcerer.
she had no idea what his plan was, did she?
Honestly, I can't imagine it's THAT uncommon to just not give a shit about non sorcerers, even for someone aligned with Jujutsu society
it was one of the "it ain't right but I understand" situations.
Ain’t no way you guys are saying you friend just killed a bunch of people to sum up “ man it’s not right but I understand you” wtf
Even if I think Geto fucking snapped and needed to be dealt with, I can absolutely see it being incredibly common for Sorcerers to be indifferent/apathetic to the general populace
i love young Geto's hairstyle
Shoko’s reaction is like “shitttt dude.. Dayum. That’s wild🚬🚬” which is pretty reasonable.
Because he's her friend they in public and she also is a super chill and calm person?
Ppl be asking the dumbest questions
Yeah idk man these are self explanatory, half of the vids of the channel are for those who watched the anime muted
@@hatezomm for real, people that got 0 social intelligence ☠️
She was training to be a doctor at the time. She probably dissociated when she started coming across corpses of people she had known and people who ended up collateral. nd that carried over for a long time
Because Shoko is her 😎
Truly it comes down to she knew she couldn't actually fight him, and also since his violence is directed towards non-sorcerers, he wouldn't attach her unprovoked. So why not have one last chat with the guy?
It’s worth noting that she does care a lot for gojo and geto. She walked out of the meeting in 0 when they were talking about killing geto
makes sense. she outlived almost all of her friends. (utahime and ijichi being the exception who both also conveniently disappeared in the same chapter )
Well, good for her for understanding. I will never understand and never forgive .
The fact that the first thing I thought when this scene started was "Shoko is about to die" already told me why she was so chill. Because she probably thought the same thing.
"im too sleep deprived fr dis shi, u deal with him gojo"
she's just chill like that 🚬
shoko deserves better yuki deserves better nobara deserves better utahime deserves better miwa deserves better
Also because he's stated multiple times he doesn't want to hurt other sorcerers
Would sukuna be able to land a black flash at will, if he sees Yuji do it? (Considering what Angel said about him only needing to see kenjaku splitting his soul once)
Also thank you for the amazing videos, keep it up
Domino thank you so much for the support! I talk about your question in my latest video here: ruclips.net/video/UpYK32_uGZQ/видео.html
I always wondered how shoko didn’t notice getos depression? She was at the school more than gojo and although she was healing everyone I’m sure she had time to speak with geto. I found it odd how we never saw her point of view in the inventory arc.
She also knows she can’t stop him, if geto wanted to leave shoko would not be able to stop him
I think Gojo understands too.
Working medical kinda gets you there
"I've finally caught to these two." type ahh
That interaction might be one of the most mature and interesting interactions in all anime… and people still get mad at JJK winning all awards… no guys, you clearly didn’t get it. Maybe only adults can get it in a way?
I think so, JJK appealed very highly for me since it felt much more mature. Gege gave respect and depth almost to every characters, almost every character is likable in their own way that it's actually hard to say if I actually have character I dislike.
Shoko's chill too.
Shokos kind of a freak lol
Shoko's just on that goood kush
Shoko is like : oh he kills PPL . Well that's not me so we chill 😌
And they say Geto is gojo best friend
Shoko dgaf. She's literally just vibing through the whole series.
But even calling gojo infornt of him puts her at risk cuz geto might think she is trying to get him arrested that was still a pretty ballsy move
@abhijaysaraswat2833
if he didn't want to her call gojo he would have said so, or just stopped her from doing so.
She was chill because she knows he has his reasons. I bet she even knew he misses his old days with gojo when both were closer 😢
What's weird is that it seems like she doesn't care and the fact that she's so chill about that. It was her best friend and he just murdered 120 people. If that doesn't phase you then what does?
The least she could do is try and reason with him, don't make fun of him and joke around in such situations, things are serious
Question,If Todo never lost his hands and trained more after the shibuya incident,Could He stand a chance against Hakari?
Nope
Yes
Nope
Of course not, its like placing a gym guy against an inmortal gym guy.
If I was Geto my heart would've sank like when the principal calls your mom after you just got in trouble, when Shoko phones Gojo. Brother get ready for that ass whooping because it's coming.
If my best friend became a mass murderer by allegations I'm unsure of I'm pretty sure I'd be chill with them too
to be fair to Shoko, Geto rarely, if ever wanted to actually kill any Sorcerers, ones that didn't have Heavenly Pacts anyway. the only reason he targeted Yuta was because of Rika.
no, no I wanna hear this dude wax poetic about this
Well, they used to bffs before Geto committed the attrocity.
1. Dude went racist against none sorcerers so shes in the clear its nothing personal against her
2. Shes outclassed so no point fighting him it would achieve nothing
3. He's her friend being chill might actually turn him around or get info on the matter (ie: "did you actually do this?") As far as she knew maybe the higher ups wanted him gone and it was all a lie and she was ready to be on his side if that was the case
4. She knows even if she calls Gojo he wont hurt her
answer: she's just like that
Shoko is a capybara incarnate
