In few interviews Gege did mention that he was not very comfortable writing female characters who were not muscular, like Yuki and Maki.. So it was more of Gege writing in his comfort zone..
Personally, I knew she wasn’t dead because she wasn’t explicitly shown to said to be dead in the manga. But I hated how she came back at the literal last moment to help beat sukuna. I was expecting her to be brought back AFTER the entire sukuna fight while the manga would be wrapping up, not that the most coincidentally perfect time to help the mc lol.
Yeah it felt so contrived, especially since if she came back at any point before that (like a few days atleast), she could have saved Gojos life, and the entire fight would be done. I think a post credit scene with her would be nice, like her chilling back on the countryside.
People were speculating that she was alive for months and by the time she did come back everyone who wasn’t holding onto hope literally thought she was dead. That’s such a crazy thing to me. How you going to not even mention Nobara let alone show her for months, making everyone think she was dead, then bring her back? I just wish she was mentioned more or better yet shown in some way throughout all the chapters she was out. Her character deserved better
Nobara and Gojo were done so dirty I can’t believe Gege. Everyone just sorta being like bleh about Gojo’s dead including his literal child and how they used his body as a weapon and then just forgot about him… and then Nobara was such a great character, her dynamics with the trio were amazing and Gege was just like nah
Dislike as much as y’all need but the last 30-35 chapters from the Gojo fight on was so damn disappointing that I often forget it was even a series to begin with. And since it’s been over I’ll get random reminders like “oh yeah, that was a thing”. That’s the legacy it quickly and unfortunately left behind.
you're 100% correct on this, after Gojo's death the entire arc fell to ruin (and yes, I get that he had to die, but off-screening him was the first of many mistakes)
@@BlackEnigma908 I'll respect your opinion, but I think it was mega ass. The airport scene takes Gojo's character, shoots it and leaves it to die bleeding in an unsavoury alley. And the explanation for his death is even worse
I think that's the thing. Nobara definitely wasn't dead, but she had a lot of flags and ambiguous terms that the characters just weren't willing to talk about. I've always interpreted it in one of three ways. Either Nobara was dead. I never thought this was the case due to flat-out denial to deal with it one way or another. Yuji and Megami are both young men and Megami in particular has a long history of repressing his emotions. In fact, that is a large reason why Megami is critical to the plot as Megami's depression and Yuji rescuing him from that is literally the story set up from day one. Needless to say, Megami absolutely is the kind of character who would flat-out refuse to deal with it and Yuji would read into it either way. Nobara was alive, but in such a state where death would be better. This clearly didn't end up being the case. Nobara was alive, but recovering very slowly and wasn't in any condition to talk. Megami could've also meant this but again, he is absolutely the kind of guy to go non-verbal over stressful situations, especially given it's similarity to his sister's current state. I feel Gege had Nobara, Megami and Yuji's story figured out long before the final showdown but he's a man who likes to write his stories like heist movies. He will only let characters know about facts as and when they become relevant, not a minute sooner. I feel the characters *absolutely* knew the state she was in but Nobara actually getting up to use her cursed technique was something that hadn't been planned for until she woke up and chose violence as soon as she learned the situation.
I swear i knew she was alive. Them being vague after Shibuya and her not being in Gojos after life party told me all i needed to know. Even the way they played it at the end of Shibuya sounded like she might survive. I'm not good at predictions at all, it just seemed blatant imo. It's not like HunterxHunter where i dont even bother trying.
I see, that is probably now the best explanation that there is for that question: they just always knew that she wasn't dead. I personally never saw that conversation between Yuji and Megumi as ambiguous. Megumi doesn't JUST respond in silence to Yuji's question, he looks down and frowns. And Yuji frowns in response. The fact that Nobara was still breathing should've been good news for Yuji, who was 95% sure she was done for already. So he shouldn't have been sad to hear that she was still at least breathing.
I feel the exact same way. But perhaps tho she was in a coma, maybe one of the sorcerers sensed some existing energy that presumes shes still alive. So maybe they needed to give that time to see if she would progress before the need to pull the plug on her. I will say the secrecy from Yuji makes sense to keep it from Sukuna knowing her existence as a trump card seems accurate
Honestly, the fact gege is extremely unconventional and pissed off so many mouth breathers makes me respect him more. Ani/mamga fams be forgetting it aint thier story

Gege kicked her out of the story since her CT was way to busted against incarnate sorceres

Same
But I never lost hope. I knew she was going to live
Beautiful said as the female lead she definitely deserved much better

Weird how ppl don’t believe Gege planed this but somehow believed that Aizen planned out ichigo’s entire life 🤣🤣
She was too goated to die 🗣️
Once we heard the “she might be alive” shit yall should’ve known she was coming back eventually.
Just put the fries in the bag manganimist
okay but im eating 75% of yours first
@@ManganimistYT Fair enough hahaha

No Hollow Purple in top 5 attacks😳😳
Nobara is worst character in jjk after megumi..gege didn't do justice to the female character
Also there was that throughaway line from Shoko to Gojo about how there was someone who hadn't fully recovered yet
Referring to Geto.
@heavyiron3.016 tf? He was already confirmed to be Kenjaku at that point. This was after Gojo got unsealed

I like the takaba vs kenjaku fight but don't care for the rest
