    Great review! So the tires on this won't catch flats?

    • @eRideHero
      @eRideHero  4 года назад +2

      Both tires on this scooter are pneumatic which means there could potentially be a flat, but it does feel a lot better to ride on that solid rubber wheels. It's pretty much convenience vs riding quality.

      Have you found a solution with Turboant? If not, I'm happy to help with the troubleshooting. Does the battery charge? Try charging it both externally (taking it out of the scooter) and inside the scooter as well to find out whether the issue is with the charging port at the base of the scooter or maybe the battery itself.

    Im 320 pounds, would this work for me?

    • @eRideHero
      @eRideHero  4 года назад +3

      The advertised max load is 275 lbs. I think it'll handle 320 lbs but I'd probably look into getting a slightly more expensive scooter with additional suspension. Otherwise it may feel too smooth to ride on. Check out the Apollo City or Explore (See review on our channel).

      Woozis Ninebot es4

    • @eRideHero
      @eRideHero  4 года назад +2

      The Ninebot ES4 is gonna cost you a little more while the Turboant X7 will offer more value for your money. However, Segway is a much bigger brand and the support should be better.

      eRideHero I’ve seen already 4 different companies offering exactly same product ( blaupunkt, grundig, bongo and x7) . I’m sure spare parts as the same so is not too bad

    Hows the reliability on this scooter? Every reviews on electric scooters always breaks within 2 to 3 months

    • @eRideHero
      @eRideHero  4 года назад +3

      I've had this scooter just shy of a year and had no issues with it. As I have several scooters, I don't use it every day though. Only maintenance has been to check the tire pressure which goes for all scooters with pneumatic tires. I'd say it holds up pretty well.

      @@eRideHero thanks for the reply, I've been doing so much research on electric scooters because I'm really tempted to get the turboant x7 pro. I think I'm gonna pull the trigger since today's the last day of sale.

      Yup personally just got the Pro version home and it's quite comfy. Will be doing a review in the coming weeks. If you follow the link in the description and go to the Pro model from there, you can use "Eridehero" as coupon at checkout to get another $40 or $50 off the Pro.

    • @eRideHero
      @eRideHero  4 года назад +1

      Good observation! :D
      Levy, Elka, Turboant among others all source their scooters from the same manufacturer, so it is mostly the same hardware you're buying although there may be slight differences between brands. Which brand is best comes down to your need, location and budget.

    i highly doubt it hits 20mph with a 350w motor lol. i had a nanrobot x4 scooter with a 500w and i struggled to hit 20mph. now i have a turbowheel lightning which goes 30mph+

    • @eRideHero
      @eRideHero  4 года назад +2

      Some brands definitely overshoot their top speed estimations but there are a good handful around that can reach 20MPH (and more) with 350W motors. For instance, I just published a review of the Apollo Light. Also a 350W motor and I've been hitting 36 km/h (=22.3 mph) consistently so it is possible. Keep in mind that 350W is the nomial power, not the peak output. Hope you're enjoying the Turbowheel LIghtning - looks a solid scooter!
