I have a pair of these. They are pretty good for the price. Bass to my taste, rumbly and full. Nice warm tones to my ear and yes the cables are still crap. Build feel is OK for the price point but dont expect more. Now Hifiman, I also bought a pair of Arya's, came in the same crappy box as these much cheaper headphones and one cable, again a poor one. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED in the whole 'experience' I got for my £1,300 The worst unboxing experience and value proposition of any of your competitors. I think I will return them on principle. As apparently my money doesn't mean anything to you. And if you don't think that 1300 on a pair of headphones doesn't warrant some level of differentiation / experience than a 300 pair...then you need to have a rethink.
you guys should color the plastic side headband to brown color, at least it matched the wood cup, currently it looks like you literally smash the wood cup and call it a day, and i'm still afraid to buy Hifiman because of all the QC issues. I'm looking forward to buy but need to see review first.
