"Cartridge Not Recognized" ? - Fix Broken Pin for Epson WorkForce WF-100

Does your WF100 printer display an "ink cartridge not recognized" error, even if you have a brand new cartridge? Take a look at the brass pin. You may have a broken one. There should be nine pins for each cartridge. This video shows you how to repair the brass pin, also known as the CSIC pin. You will get the printer back to work in no time.

Hello, I have 6 WF100 printers. cartridges are original. I checked the pins and they are not broken. Despite this, I get a warning that the cartridge is not recognized.

I want to thank you for the info. I do not want to buy another printer. Epson need to be ashamed of themselves for this product. I will never purchase anything else made by them. they make thing so complicated . I just want to use my printer without all the hassle. So thank you. I am converting mine to chipless.

I'm seeing both single pin and entire assembly as OUT OF STOCK. Do you know anywhere else I can find these?

Kevin, isn't each chip specific to the color of the cartridge. I am trying to order an extra set from your online store but it keeps giving me an error. I called and no one will answer. I left a message on the website for someone to contact me and no one has called. My kids live in Greensboro but I can't get in contact with no one. Epson wouldn't send me a replacement. They just replaced my 4 month old printer with a refurbished one. I only have seven days to ship my old printer and would like to see if your replacement would work.
