Thx heaps, somehow the pin fell out but didn’t break. I managed to put it back in but still didn’t work, thanks to you, you showed me how to take the whole cartridge out, the little pin just needed expanding a little. 🌷
This man is the GOAT!! I have turned to this man for all my problems with my Epson printers and everytime, he helped walk me through fixing my printers!!
refillable carts have chips you can swap out and there's 9 pins on each chip. in regards to wf-7820, how many of the pins are actually used on each chip? it doesn't look like all 9 of them are utilized, i'd like to find out which pins are important and which ones can be left out... i'm experimenting with something...
I received my new chip in the mail and installed it, then started my printer. The whole casing that holds the board slammed to the left side of the printer inside and the screen said to turn it off. After turning it off, I tried turning it on again, but it did it again. Sounded like it was gonna break out of the whole printer. The only thing I did was replace the chip and put the cartridges back in. Do you know what's wrong with it? Thanks so musch!
How do i get the chip assembley out to replace the chip connector, i cant get it out and you already had that part done im at a loss here. Please can you help me?
Hello I have a WF-2860 which has a broken pin and I get the Cartridge not recognized error. I wasn't able to pull off the broken chip board. Is the procedure different on my printer? Thanks

It seems as if this is my problem but this video don't show us how to take it out. Is there a video I can watch so I can get to the point you are in this video (to be able to put the chip back in)?
@@BCHTechnologies thank you so much for this video and also replying back to me. I really do appreciate it. As I put it back it, it won't print now. Is there something maybe I did wrong?
Hello even though the cartridges are being recognized.... will this stop the ink from printing on the pages? I'm getting blank pages i have replaced the printhead and did several cleanings still getting blank pages. Im just trying to see if there is a connections problem! I have the Epson WF-7720
I'm trying to revive an Epson Stylus Photo 1400. It uses six cartridges, I can insert any combination of cartridges and they'll be recognized correctly and the printer will identify which one is/are missing. But when I insert the last cartridge, regardless of which one it is or its position, all of the sudden no cartridges are recognized. It circles through all positions as if by inserting the last one, none are recognized. All pins on boards look good. Printer was on storage for five years. It was all working but head was super clogged. I took head apart and soaked it in solution for a couple of days. After reassembling now it won't recognize cartridges if all installed. Any ideas ?
hi Kevin, I'm finding it difficult to pop out the 9pin cartridge on my Epson WF-2750. Does this model require any additional steps to remove the board?
Wiggle pin forward and backward (not up and down). The groves are not straight but a little zigzag if that makes sense. Same when putting new pin in. This worked like perfectly for my Epsom XP-446. Thanks so much Kevin!

Put your finger underneath the pin, and use your nail to dig it out. Once the pin is raised half way, jiggle it a little and it will come out.

The blank page is caused by the air bubbles inside the cartridge. Do a few head cleanings and it should fix the problem.
Yes, I have done several cleaning, replaced print head and all! I’m confused on what’s going on and why it’s printing on the paper.
I wish I could see how you got to this before you took it apart
Will it work for Epson 1430 Artisan? It only has 8 pins? Do you know where to purchase 8 pin?
Can I do the same for my cannon ts6220?
You’re amazing!! You’ve saved me so much money! ❤️
How about epson wf7710?
Awesome, thanks for the quick solution, $10 part!
Where did you purchase the part?

Did you still know the link to the part? I can't find it in Amazon.
