How I Organize my Stash Tabs

This setup costs a bit to get up and running on day 1 of a new cycle, but it's worked well for me and others.

I saw your stash open in a previous video and adopted it, with a slightly cheaper version. I combined rings and amulets to jewelry, and dont yet have tabs for each weapon type, just melee and caster weapons. I will split them into 1h and 2h versions of each when I run out of room.
As for differences in my organization, I also have "workbench" tabs that I use for storing items that I might want to craft on, might want to combine with a unique for an exalted, and keep them next to each other there. Kinda similar to your first tab there, but i enjoy the ability to drag and drop and store things next to each other

I wonder if we'll get a stash tab like that in the future. Yeah, I have it by memory personally, but you can always use the Search function in your tab to look by name.
@@PerrythePig yeah, its just that when I am blasting and a set item or unique drops I dont know if I got it (I am new player as well), and its just fun to collect all set items just to have. Would be really cool if it would say on it like "3 in stash" like in wow :D Oh and btw did my first alt and playing your healing hands buil,d lvl 53 so far, ty for all good videos!
I'm the opposite - my uniques are very organized and I have the most tabs for them, but my exalteds are just thrown in mostly randomly. The only thing i organize about exalts is if I find +4 skill or class-specific exalts, that I throw in the respective class tabs
That's basically the same thing I do - except that I have categories and tabs for each character class where I put some items I know would be used almost exclusively by that class. (and have the character-specific idols in there). I'm a bit surprised that I have way more exalted items saved than you. I think that's really important for certain item types in order to have what you need in the moment
The way I set up idols are: Minor | Humble/Stout | Acolyte | Mage | Sentinel | Primalist | Rogue.
I have a few "dump tabs" where I throw everything into when doing monos, and I sort the items later. This makes it easier for me to keep a rhythm when actually playing.
I also separate LP uniques from non-LP uniques; Wepeon Uniques | Armour Uniques | LP Versions. And as I get more uniques I'll create more tabs that separate two handed from one handed, body from helms, etc.
One issue with organizing exalts by class affixes (as someone else says they do) is if you only play one or two classes, you're not going to find very many class-specific affixes for the other classes you don't play. And the difference between sorting Idols by class is you're able to find class-specific idols pretty often.
I also have a "Crafting" tab to dump potentially good items, but have a useless affix (but deletable/rerollable) that currently makes it a pretty bad item. These items are in the category of "bricked until not bricked" essentially.
I can edit the Category names by pressing it and then edit. So can make it look easier for categories
I have the same logic of organizing. But My tabs have very short names so I may access them without opening a sidebar. The names are like 1 (means 1h weapon) 2 (2h) b (body armor). Exalted weapons and armor have different categories so their 1st letter isn't duplicated. I don't use icons because they have this annoying indent. But I use colors for both categories and tabs.
And it's not needed if you want to play only 1 class, but I just cannot play 1 build all the time. It becomes boring. And I like to experiment and find some interesting unknown builds.
In Legacy, my system is insane but I’m too far gone to change it. I have my uniques organized by item type and level. For example, there’s a page for unique body armor and it starts with a unique body armor that has no level requirement and then ascends to body armors with higher level requirements.
Exalteds for specific classes get broken up by class. I have all my acolyte idols/body armors/helmets etc separate from the items for my other class. Then they’re organized further depending on +to skills etc.
Exalteds without class requirements are organized by item type similar to how you have it.
Idols without class are organized by health or what resistance they give. The left most idol generally has the highest resistance but I got lazy with that after awhile.
Good stuff, thanks for sharing! Do you know what happens with the cycle stash at the end of the cycle? I started playing about a week before full release, so really I only have my cycle stash somewhat organized right now. Is it combined with legacy at the end of the cycle somehow?
Since the search is so powerful, I just dump all T7s (or multi T6s) into bulk tabs, but this really makes me think perhaps I could get a bit more organized.
Also I have tabs per-build, and also give every class their own idol and LP/set tab "just in case" one day I need or want to experiment, as you said.
Ironically I have probably twice as many tabs as you and am less organized, more than likely. I think I'll do some restructuring today!

Maybe I'm dumb and just missing it but I've noticed that your cursor is larger and easier to see, I keep losing the default little gold one. Can you tell me how you got it?

Perry, do you collect and filter for one character only? I struggle with organising as I'm not that ruthless and have an alt or two in mind and grab potentially useful gear for them too, which blows out the stash tabs

I have similar, but rather more clean and in order. Yep, it takes a lot of time. And wasting your brain space to remember important things. I am using 1 2 3 4 + icons to make LABLE SHORTER (works only with sub lable)
