    This is one of the many stories told about the hospitality of us Newfoundlanders and is part of the reason I am so proud to be from here!

    In 1964, I flew to Europe. We had to refuel in Gander in the dark. I think engines were not as efficient as they are now. It was so touching that these people were so good to Americans after 9/11.

    Saw this in Toronto in 2019. One of the best and most uplifting musicals I’ve ever seen. I hope a tv version can do it justice.

    Wow, Canadians are Wonderful people, I Love it, great Trailer. It made me cry especially now, in this American Political arena how far Americans have fallen Spiritually and Morally

      Canadians were truly wonderful and fabulous on that day, along with many other people from countless nationalities when we were all stranded. Now, thank you, I guess, for your odd smugness in needing to make a weird comment to irrelevantly tarnish how well everyone got together and helped each other. We've had four reunions so far. So phenomenal. But carry on as you wish with your insistence in making political commentary,

    is this some kind of cruel joke……a play about 911 that had nothing to do with anything…..stranded really….lots of people died that day and im sure they would of rather been stranded than die

    • @lenah9027
      @lenah9027 7 месяцев назад +51

      Why is it a cruel joke? It’s about a tiny town that worked to take care of more people than were in the town in an emergency it doesn’t take away from anyone else’s stories

      What are you talking about? This story is about the best of humanity during a time when the world saw the worst of it, a bright light during an otherwise very dark time. You should read the true story this show is based on.
