I learned at a very young age to NEVER EVER depend on someone else to solve your problems. Rely on God & put in your best efforts. It has served me very well in my 53 years of living.

Awesome. Same here, I actually started working ⚒ at the age of 15 and swear to myself never to depend on anyone. Also I find it difficult to ask unless it's really really important or urgent and this has also helped me to not depend on anyone.
