Brendan's in serious denial about his ability. I agree 100% with Rogan on every point. Watching Brendan is hard because of how bad he looks in every aspect of the game. He's way to optimistic about how well he's done and how good he looks. Joe was spot on with his analysis of Brendan's stand up capability and I get so tired of Schaub being his biggest fan. Honestly, I was thinking that he would be cut by the UFC. He's just not good. And for him to be hurt because someone had the balls to tell him face to face how terrible he is and how Callen isn't a good "best friend" really puts me off to him and this podcast. First time I heard of this, even though I thought I had heard or seen most of Joe's podcasts. I found it authentic and know how tough it was for everybody to be so honest. Well, that was five years ago, and I am so proud of the transition Brendan has made. He is a much stronger, more successful man today than he was back then. Bryan has also grown. I listened recently to Eric Weinstein's excellent podcast - The Portal - and was surprised that Callen was the featured guest, who more than held his own with one of the smartest fellas in any room. Well done boys, and raise a glass to good friends.

He's NOT an elite fighter. He has basic skills for MMA. He is NOT as good as he think he is. That's ok, but he has to be honest with himself about his skill level. I don't see him beating Werdum, Overeem, Cain, Struve, Dos Santos, Miocic, Hunt. He has to be realistic. I am very impressed with his heart, it's very hard to have your truths challenged, especially in a public forum by some one you love. If he trains more technique and fights a little less he has a chance to learn and get better. He has to learn better footwork, better strikes, better timing, more fluidity. He has to become a better striker or he WILL NOT become HWC.
