I know nothing about NASCAR, but those cars you made look amazing! It's a shame the page on BGG in which you explained how you made them, no longer exists, as I'd be interested in learning more about that.
No, NASCAR isn't too big in Northern Ireland, but you've got a good looking game there.
I appreciate that! I thought I'd reposted that on the blog at some point, but it does not appear so. The Board Game Gulag purges have really hurt boardgaming and the community.
Great video. I noticed could have used solo movement with a failed displacement at the end to be the leader of the inside line. I love the game and I'm very jealous of your custom cars!

Promising. I have some questions, such as does the color of the deck correspond to the color of the AI team? Some decks don't contain certain types of movement, and a human player could "game" the AI knowing what type of move they know will/will not occur. AI shuffles after each move? There are only 4 cards per AI deck. An AI team keeps its assigned deck for the entire game?
You'd have to read the rules on that. Not by me and I've not had a chance to make a copy to try (though I'm close!)

I'm surprised GMT didn't do a P500 for a set of plastic cars for this and Grand Prix. It would take me a long time to make and sell those and the quality is good enough for me, but I wouldn't feel right selling them lol. I'm sure there are plenty available on thingiverse that would work and using a site like www.treatstock.com/ to print them would be very affordable. You could even order each set in the correct plastic color to minimize painting. :)

Replied before, but RUclips ate it it seems... I cut the numbers from label paper with my cutting machine. Then used a marker/highlighter to go over them before peeling them off and adhering them.

So this "solo" mode is just you controlling 4 teams of cars? I wouldn't call this "solo" at all if that's the case. 4 teams, 6 cars.. also curious how long does this take to complete?
Takes no longer really than the same number of teams would be multiplayer.
It's definitely "true solo" as there is only a single human player. Controlling more than one team does not negate a game being solo. No there is no AI for the other teams (there is an "ok" fan-made AI on board game gulag I believe), but I found that simply playing to the best of your ability and limiting the card draws made for an exciting game that's fun to play.
Have you thought about drawing 3 but just randomly select 1 to use. Then you are not making decisions for the opponents. I like parts of this but I dont like playing myself against myself. What you’re doing is like playing chess for both sides. Thats fine but I’d rather try to play against a “dummy” ai that makes certain choices based on a strict rule set or a random die roll. I like how you do the drawing of cards but you’re just playing against yourself here. Thats fine. I’ve seen some of the fan-made variants and they’ll all too complex imho. Some even have you print custom ai cards. Its just too many extra rules imho. I might just cook up my own solo mode.

Correct. As with wargames, just try to do my best for each team and see where it plays out.
I get it. I have the expansion tracks and crew chief expansion cards. id like to check this out see how it plays. This is one of my top 3 favorite table top games. Nothing like a good race.
