Hi Andy, thanks for another great video. I have a dumb question to ask. What exactly is "volunteer" corn or wheat, etc? I never heard that phrase before.
It’s generally corn that may have come out of the combine, or an ear of corn that was knocked on the ground that the following year starts to regrow in your bean field that you planted in this case, it was because of my F up of not cleaning out the bottom of the seed tender before I switched to beans that’s why the field across from my shop it’s in nice straight rows because I wound up planting it with the bean drill. Basically you don’t want it there.
Not where the people that passed me on the right it wasn’t not where the tractor trailer that almost took my front end out it wasn’t yes where the first tractor-trailer passed me it was
Back in the 50's with our 5 ft. Allis pull type combine there weren't any software updates to fool with LOL, but road traffic?..........there was no speed limit and a lot people would drive at 90 mph (and a hell of lot of them died as a result).

Geez you sound like me driving in Connecticut.
It’s insane
You can add Berryman Seal-R Tire sealant to the tubes.. won't help ripping a valve stem off but any nails or leaks it should plug it. Run it in my ATV in the desert where we get all sorts of hole makers. esp the mesquite & prickly pear.. also my car.
Cool 👍🏻
Not sure if it says when each software version was released (date/time stamp) but usually are stability/compatibility improvements to match the hardware... could be something wasn't supported at the time and now is. Just like software updates on a phone... there's a lot. At least with equipment you're not forced, along the lines of if everything is working DON'T update anything. But if something isn't working right, doesn't hurt to try to update.
All too complicated
Central Indiana is just as bad with idiot drivers too!!! Makes it fun to move equipment around.
And I’m sure it’ll keep getting worse Scott
It's the same no matter where you go.
Driving idiots out there now days, I sometimes go 3 miles out of the way here so I don't have to make a left hand turn 😒 or deal with the stupidity when you have to hold a stop/ slow paddle as part of my job 🙄🤬🤬
Special society we live in 🤦♂️
People are in such a hurry to go nowhere. Around here some of the farmers are required to move equipment in the middle of the night
And that actually could make it even scarier at night because these people still aren’t going to slow down
Hi Andy, thanks for another great video.
@@TheGrumpyFarmer Thanks!
It was a passing zone!
Not where the people that passed me on the right it wasn’t not where the tractor trailer that almost took my front end out it wasn’t yes where the first tractor-trailer passed me it was
What do you do in the heavy snow winter months, work on your equipment?
Plow snow
That's the real pandemic!
Yeah exactly
Back in the 50's with our 5 ft. Allis pull type combine there weren't any software updates to fool with LOL, but road traffic?..........there was no speed limit and a lot people would drive at 90 mph (and a hell of lot of them died as a result).
Yes and yes
Well here in southwestern Pennsylvania grumpy there is a saying knee high by the 4th of July you're doing fine and if yours is already waist-high and chest-high by the 4th of July that's great I think I like the flag wasn't me though😊😊
Yeah i’ve never been a fan of that knee-high by the Fourth of July saying I prefer at least waist high
@@TheGrumpyFarmeri wonder where in the US that saying came from cause I would think your growing season would be shorter than like the bottom third of the US.
Could you explain what volunteer corn is for that don't understand. would not be addition income?
It’s corn that’s growing in a bean field that you don’t want there. You can’t harvest it separately.
I only have a 6 acre homestead.
Ill do it to make you a thousand bucks though.
Any woman who can put up with my shit is a blessing 😅
🤦♂️🤣🤣
Yikes! Don't tell Sandra about me, that's the last thing i need! Stupid indeed!
🤦♂️🤣🤣
Yea I have people blowing by me when I’m driving down the road. Pulling my 85 foot airseeder. They can’t wait till I turn they have to almost cause an accident Happens all tbe time.
Yup Evan it’s insane 🤦♂️
Your comment about "people" covers such a wide spectrum...non sensual does that. Have a great one Grumpy and Grumpette😂.
🤦♂️🤷♂️
Great shirt. Harmless Farmer. Miss his videos
Yup good guy
How many acres do you farm sir? Over 100 degrees here today, I can’t wait. I retired 6 years ago and just went back to work in May. I got so bored and lazy, I needed some structure. I just wish I was younger. Have a good day unless you made other plans.
Bored? Holy smokes I have a lot of hobbies and hate being around people. I love not working! I bike a lot on my local bike trail and smoke pipes/cigars and sit in the backyard getting a tan. I would hate going to work now.
@@germanwarrior6463 I’ve got atv’s, a Harley, an enclosed swimming pool with hot tub and sauna, I’ve got a 40x120 shop with a couple of antique cars, tools, hunting and fishing gear, refrigerator full of beer and other stuff. I’m just mentioning this because I retired at the age of 51 and after 6 years, there was just something missing. I don’t know how long I will last in the workforce but I know I don’t have to do it, I like doing it right now. Have a great weekend sir.
I don’t wish I was younger. I feel sorry for the younger people coming up in this world. We live in today.
@@_DB.COOPER Wow, you got more toys and things to do than me..Lol I quit working for the man in 2020 at 47yrs old. I couldn't do it no more and now work for myself and rather have freedom over money any day. Yeah, I make a lot less, but not have to worry about other retards and driving in the snow is great. Sometimes I do nothing but sit in the sun and relax all day with no care in the world. I think people today need to just slow down and relax a bit. We are programmed to be obedient drones that only worry about working and money, not healthy. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I would absolute HATE working normal again! I feel my life is well over half over, so why not spend the rest on easy mode. I worked since I was 12 so, worked enough like a slave long enough. Life is short to work all the time. Take care.
@@germanwarrior6463 I hear ya.
GET TF OUT OF THE ROAD!!!!😅😅😅😅
