Fern Britton hosted our high school talent show one year when I was a kid. She was a pure professional. Super polite and friendly to us kids. She's a lovely person and a true performer. It's 20 or so years later and I still remember how much of a pro she was. She just has the right personality to be a performer. Philip Schofield appears the same. Their humour is brilliant.
The "3 of Spades" story at 16:35 is just perfect, it's very real and Fern's way of telling it is completely natural in the way you'd tell a friend, which just makes it even funnier. Must have endeared her even more to those watching on a typically dank British morning. You'd never get this sort of entertainment from Richard and Judy
That was really joyful and cheered me up and settled me down. I used to love it when Fern would accidentally say something in her lovely, soft voice that was really inappropriate then not be able to stop laughing. They're both great. ❤❤

Out of everything why am I laughing the hardest at fern and Phil turning into mannequins whenever they do a lift in the dance sequence 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I can’t cope
Apparently they had a massive falling out, it was rumoured to be that Phil was earning three times to what Fern was earning, but she said recently that she felt that the bosses sidelined her and they favoured Phil, who didn’t even stick by her when she was, how it seems to me, “bullied out” by ITV. So it just got to the point where she didn’t enjoy it anymore and decided to leave. Apparently they don’t even speak anymore either.
Just adore Fern! (And Phil, you're alright)-Many years ago l lived in Devon where a young Fern was on TV West l think. She was as lovely then as she is now!
I think these vids should be prescribed to help with depression 💛 I loved Phil 💙 and Fern 💚 much funnier 😂 but love Holly 💛 too, they have a good bond ☀❤

I rarely watch TM now as Fern, imo, was the best co-presenter. Loathed Richard and Judy and Eammon and Ruth just set my teeth on edge. Holly's eye candy and not much else and Phil somehow seems to behave like he's a serious journalist all of a sudden!
Holly is awful.. She laughs at NOTHING.! Trying to be funny..🤪 Only Booze and Clothes are her subjects....Ruth Langford treats Eamon like shit, puts him down and he takes it.! Embarrassing Well Fern was intelligent Funny, and charasmatic....100% Chemistry with Phil..
