If you want to stay in a strange Travelodge, head to the one in West Brom. Apparently on the weekends it's a swingers paradise!! I stayed midweek a couple of times and parked in the underground car park, reminded me of a horror movie with only one, flickering light that works. Safe travels tomorrow and up the Toon!!!!
The train strikes have been planned a long time plenty of info there to know you wouldn't be able to travel to many places. With network rail on strike the signallers aren't working hence why many routes cannot run.

But I also was a bit surprised as what the calculations offer online, doesn’t seem that it’s TOO rewarding for the amount of content offered. I thought it would be more I’m NGL
