Good craftsmanship! You learned from mistakes and got a good result. After watching I think I'd use thin dental floss for thread and put a bead of glue along the margins of the tear just before sewing it up. It should help help bond the edges like it bonds the patch.
My 4 months old Schwalbe Marathon Supreme have very thin wall and it cracked on 1 spot after 4000 miles... i used fishing nylon wire - done this like you in the video and after 1 path i added extra layer over, rubber from old inside tube...got more 200 miles on it and it still holding 😎
Do you ever put the sealant in through the valve stem, or do you always unseat the tire and pour it in? Is that a fatty thing since there is more sealant?
Sometimes. If I'm just adding sealant, I'll use the valve stem. If I've got the tire off anyway, I usually just pour it in and try not to make a mess 😊
The thread I used measure 0.3mm. Also, since posting this video I've started using Kevlar thread for this sort of stuff, it's even more abrasion resistant, and should hold up longer than the nylon thread. Nice shot of the tire on the curb 👌

Is that wall mount 3D printed?
$100 bicycle tire. I have a really hard time wrapping my head around that. I'd be repairing that tire as well.
BTW, that looks like a 3D printed rack that hangs your bike by the pedal? I've never seen one like that. Your design?
Yep, you got it. And yeah, it's my design. Here's the link: social.thangs.com/m/211111

Hi! May I know how thick(mm) the nylon thread did you use?
