I saw one of these today and it's the first I have seen. The owner had somehow managed to build a 10 storey tower in it which seemed to be inspired by the Tower Of Babel. It was amazing.
yeah was planning to use it for that after I get some build ideas out of my system always wanted to blueprint something that was large and flat but never could find a space to build it without something trying to eat me....
@@ForgeTecGaming almost every time I was either at my vending machine or at C.A.M.P. station thing to browse through and transfer my stuff, a fuckin ferral mongrel or ferral ghoul would spawn and show up to attack me on my front porch. And by the way, the game, the camp thing has this lame reversal "correct" order rule on how to remove building materials based on in what order you built your rooms part of building your house. In fallout 4, there was no such rule like that. You could easily remove your items however ordered fasion you like to without any issues.
Someone who actually has the item and showing it. Thank you very much. To me, it looks about same size as The Pitt shelter, just without the buildings. ( Might be the Pitt shelter without the buildings and lighting effects 🤣)
yeah I don't show anything I don't actually own if I don't think its worth snagging myself I won't showcase it - as for size its pretty similar to scale I own them both of them I think of the pitt as more a theme area and this as a free test zone actually even debated making it into a military style test fire range for sniping and such
@@ForgeTecGaming I went ahead and brought it from the atom store, after seeing your video. People might not see it from video, this area is massive build zone. I have place all the large pre built structures in there, which has only taken up a quarter of the space. The things I do not like about it though are, I have used a third of the build budget. There are lots of places that throw up the error messages "Cannot place item" with either Item needs support or Item conflicts another object.
@@Del_UK yeah I'm really hoping for some camp love I've seen some data mines that say its coming and with microsofts budget I see many good things in future since they are aimed at long hauls rather then quick bucks (cough zenimax cough)

shelters generally are locked during a time of day and don't have weather the pitt one has a kind of fog but other then that generally are just the same - only thing I can think is if they figured how to get the weather machine into a shelter might have to play around with that
honestly with so many large shelters recently they really should expand shelter budgets its a win for the community and a win since bethesda could sell us more things (hint bethesda)
your not going to build a massive city but I placed the 3 dinos and 7-8 prefabs for around 10% of the budget but I'd say its a good testing ground for bigger build concepts - I feel like with so many big building pieces they got to be debating a budget increase and would be in their favor since more budget means us needing more atom shop stuff (hint hint bethesda if you read this)
i notice it is very bright in that shelter, does time change whilst in this new shelter? Does it turn nighttime and does it have any weather like rain?
I think the pitt has better color scheme and design but I feel like this one gives more free form design for people so both have pro cons now if they would just up our camp budget so we could go a bit more crazy
Can you please text to see if this one allows for food and water assets to be built inside this one. I have never bought any of these except for the free first one we get and the free generic one we get all the way up north. Since this game had a massive patch, I’m hoping they now allow certain shelters such as this one to have that. Thanks.
as far as I know the answer is no - but they have been rumored to be working on a camp upgrade for a while now and some weird assets in data mines that aren't in use yet so maybe someday
I found the floating truck and it allows for the camp to be placed in mid air. I can build a spaceship or ghost ship without touching the ground. Now I know how you guys do it but I’m surprised it never got patched out of the game.
cause its actually like 50 different issues that cause little actual laag to game so they don't care enough to fix it when they still need to actually balance / fix other areas
Does this have to be placed at an outside camp or does it also have a white door or ground hatch variant entrance that can be placed inside another shelter like other ones?
Hmm, I like it. When I get another over 1800 or get 2k atomic shop points, I'm placing that transportation air craft drone on top of the garage next to the house on left. I'll have to add staircase to reach the roof.
Too bad it's a shelter which prevents us from using certain furniture pieces. Now if I could build a whole house or theme park in here that would be kool.
really we should be able to use them and just disable the growth rates to 0 best of both worlds they don't have to worry about balance and we get to have fun
Would be better to buy Fallout 1st with Atomic Shop points instead of usd because we already are paying for PS plus monthly just to be able to play Fallout 76 online, to enter public server worlds.
One of the best shelters till now, BUT: as long the current camp building BUDGET LIMIT remains the same as all others, the same problems remains. I can almost build nothing cool!! I can build but decorating hit the max budget to fast.
yeah I know what ya mean and while I have no proof I do feel like we might be seeing budget increases with all the quality of life things microsoft added since it took over and all the big locations they give us they have to be planning for a increase to make them more useful and would be in their best interest since the bigger our budget is the more atom shop things we need to fill it (hint hint microsoft)
Yeah you'll never get to build an awesome camp with tons and tons of stuff in it. What I do however is my main camp is full but leads to a shelter which is full of other stuff which leads to a shelter full of more other stuff which leads to a shelter with even more other stuff....................! Probably around a dozen shelters in my camp each dedicated to their own themes.
@@TheMeanArena the budget for this one though does feel larger and when I checked wiki it said it was double normal BUT as I've not added like 2000 flamingos to check the flamingo units (flamingos are 1 build point) I'm just saying what I've noticed
I Mean its good BUT its not a shelter is it, it is open land in a toxic environment. why not just build a massive flat shelter with a massive roof and then call it a shelter.
yeah think that is mostly a mechanical issue since they shut down when not in use - I generally use camps as farms and shelters as homes I wish I could fast travel strait to shelter honestly
I've not tried to build that specific but honestly I would be shocked if you couldn't since it should be able to hold like 10 of them its truely a massive space

Looks like the perfect shelter for all those prefabs that I have and have never used, because I can't figure out how to work them into my camp.
(stares at giant castle gate with no idea what to use it for) I know this feeling I know one day I'll find a use..... one day.....

Yeah the Pitt neighborhood didn't seem to have any weather changes.
Another outdoor shelter where night never comes...
that big glowing crater over the horizon just does that to the sky

Large yet knowing the budget size you have to push it all together or make a plan. Using the premade buildings will eat the budget
