don't know if you know this but a lot of women play this game too...

basically it extends a bit outside of your camp and clears up after you walk out anyone inside the camp can also see it as I've walked into other players fog and red weather zones

basically they have 2 types paints and skins this is a skin and thus it looks that way on all the designs they do have some communist paints I saw once in a data mine so maybe one day

Demand is further relatively low. None of that however has anything to do with VALUE. There are different kinds of value. There is the momentary or contextual value, this is where value is inflated due to temporary contextual factors. Like a thirsty man in a desert over values a bottle of water. There is individual value, that is my trash is your treasure. There is market value, the right balance of price for the market. But for the purposes of my comment, the most important type is intrinsic value, how much something is objectively worth. Value, along with other factors such market and competitor comparison contribute to whether something is in fact value for money. So we must ask ourselves, if we have $11.25 is using it to purchase a digital item whose only utility is to turn a digital sky purpose and whose usefulness will expire in two weeks, is that money well spent? What else could we have done with that $11.25? Could we for example have invested in some way to make that money work for us? Could we have saved it for a rainy day? Could we have spent it more wisely? In buying such an item, is it worth $11.25? I can tell you that game developers don't think so. That's why they use paid in game currency. The purpose is not to conceal, it's easy to work out, so much as it is to create a layer of fuzziness on how much something costs such that the purchaser will spend money in ways they wouldn't if the price was explicit in real currency. So my question to others in these comments is, now you know explicitly that it costs $11.25. Do you really think it's worthwhile? Some might still say yes to themselves, but I'm also sure some who would have otherwise purchased it seeing the actual raw USD pricetag will not. Because it's a colour change.

@@tjmarx can be purchased 2 weeks this means its a limited item and thus supply isn't unlimited - this means people know they have 2 weeks and if they want to buy it for that its worth it to them - its like how some people are happy with a 99cents coffee and some want a 8 dollar coffee your entire argument is why you don't want it not why someone might have a demand for it

The second half of your comment tells me you did not actually read my previous comment in full. I quite literally explained individual value verse intrinsic value, and which was being discussed. My "argument" which as an aside isn't at all an argument for or against anything but instead an explanation of market theory applied situationally and a repeat of the original question. But I digress. As I made clear previously, this is about intrinsic value. That is, what does a product cost to manufacture/create, distribute and retail, verse what is its utility and necessity. This is also about value for money, which again is about intrinsic value plus other factors such as market comparisons and money use evaluation. Further, it's worth noting that whilst I understood it to be a clumsy argument towards individual value, your analogy of the coffee choices doesn't work. The difference in price between the two cups is reflected in its characteristics and the availability of market choice. Some consumers choose the $8 coffee because they appreciate the increased quality, perceived taste improvement or the status symbol it provides amongst their peers. Not only is there no choice/competition here, as the atom shop is a closed single vendor market, and thus no alternatives at various price points or levels of quality, but there is likewise no sense of status in game which is purchased alongside it. It's a limited colour change, that most players will never know you have or notice even if they visit your camp.

yeah I've seen things that I'm like must have - maybe on sale - and no and why I try to showcase them in a realistic light when I can and point out flaws when I notice them

yeah honestly its like morning when there is still fog but the suns up slowly burning it away with a purple fog its a cool effect but its not as dark as the fog one for instance

skyline or fog is better for working in dark this one though screams mothman cult and can't wait to see bases with it in them

@@Dannythespian yeah I wish it was a bit darker around the clock why I did it during the day as it was the worse case scenario even if the fog had been thicker to dull the sun a bit more

I really need a moonless night weather station that its just ultra dark at this point for night time camps

​@@ForgeTecGaming Yeah well the mm weather station is pretty much just that. It's just purple instead of pitch black.

its very similar to the mothman equinox lighting its more atmospheric then the thunderstorm but not as dark as the skyline red sky or the fog machine that said I've used the same camp for every test of these weather machines so in theory if you look at those you can see a side by side that way

yup some bundles are great some area just not for folks why I do this

@@cucumberfurry3811 settler gold station has the atlantic city fog weather machine and its probably the best for dark camps and light bouncing off the fog looks great also no real life cash just gold

defensive missions I highly recommend the defensive wooden walls they are just the best defensive design these days and for worms they actually aren't dangerous when you realize there is a anti poison pill you can pop then they can't hurt you or the 50 poison resist module - I'm actually making a video on the wooden walls and a kind of up to date defensive 101 I was hoping to have it done last week butttttt tropical storm killed my voice for 2 weeks lols

@@ForgeTecGaming ah ok. I don't think I've unlocked those yet. We picked an easy missing secure the pod. I put up some half walls to stop things from rushing us with hedhogs then it was just a bunch of worms and some other creatures. Lol. The worms wouldn't have been so bad if the poison AOE wasn't so big. It seems like it splashes all the way around boulders and threw walls. I'll have to take some big defensive walls next time and look into the anti poison pills

@@specrtre they have also poison modules you can buy and antidotes that are tier 2 I actually have a discord channel if you want to join since its a bit easier then the youtube posts to get feedback - that said I hope you guys enjoy icarus is a great game bit of a learning curve but really good

its actually pretty solid about it but its kind of old video since when I made this the skinning bench was bad and now its pretty good have been thinking of making a new farming based with the wooden defense walls and a enzyme geyser video and I'd recommend those with the spike upgrades and a repair hammer over this if you have a radar it works as well for not tracking animals but hoping this week to get back into icarus videos

ohh its just parked over us and is dropping rain and like 10mph winds other then allergies making me want to go take a nap and a bit raspy voiced its all good - honestly as for shelters and camps with the upgrades they have been doing to game and over hauls I'm suspecting we will see budget start to go up specially since were getting some kind of outpost or something next season

@@ForgeTecGaming You're probably somewhat close to where I am, just a bit north. Good luck with it! I've seen that it might possibly head its way back down this way at some point, but we'll see. Hopefully it starts moving again soon. I'm very interested in seeing what the outpost stuff is going to be like. But even with Fallout 1st I can't afford half the crap I want to buy. lol

@@SefianFM my understanding is we will get a caravan company and can upgrade it by doing quests BUT thats a very very loose understanding cause its more to be added before it goes live but it does loot really interesting

@@ForgeTecGaming I did see someones video a week or so ago from the test server who said there's going to be a few npc's that will give you quests to level up those pieces of the caravan. I'd just love to see how it goes as I'm tired of the 1400 caps per day. Would love to also have some sort of passive income if possible even if it's not a huge amount.

i would like to see all the CAMP allies in any of these shelters. It's actually possible if bethesda cancel each of their interactions and/or daily quests imo.

That would be nice. Also some resource collectors are great decorative items that should be available in shelters, without generating resources ofc.
