Thank you! That was the intention on this Guide! I used similar techniques on my Alpha Legion, but with a Airbrush. This is why i choose this time the full brush way :)
Great tutorial again You've given me motivation to start painting Warhammer again. Just a quick question probably stupid but do you add water to the varnishes if you were applying them with a brush or straight from the pot?
Straight brush from the pod with the Vallejo premium ones. don't put them on a wt pallet, use a clean metal or plastic pot for soak up your brush. And this is in no way a stupid question! :)
I notice it looks like you stipple the primer / undercoat on instead of brushing. Is that just a trick of the camera or is there a reason for that? Does it matter?
@@plaguenarr Yes but the average of new painter don't have an airbrush like me but just watching your video I improved so much so i cant wait for a video of you painting a tank
I appreciate that you make tutorials with techniques that do not require an airbrush - very useful for beginners :D

I love that you model them to have so much personality for each legion!

It's so beautiful. Amazing work
Thank you very much!
Great video, a lot of videos dont show the painting of the minute detail parts. This is clean, crisp and easy to follow from start to finish. Lovely.
Thank you a million times, for such amazing feedback! ❤

Look awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Quick question: did you use mineral spirits on the sponge to remove the oil wash?
no spirits at all involved. Just eyeshadow applicator tools, you will need about 2-3 for a clean finish.
I like!!
Thank you! ❤

I don't stipple the primer. The primer is sprayed on. I stipple on the base coat, that's essential to get a basic texture and small shadows. 😄
@@plaguenarrgood to know. Is there purpose to having contrast medium mixed with the contrast and could you just use neat contrast?
Babe plaguenarr just released a new video
haha, nice :D Whats about the color consitency problem, did you figure it out ? You didnt write anything in discord :)
When speed painting a tank ?
Good idea will keep that in mind for the stuff i could do after my heresy series. But to be honest, i think a airbrush is on big models a must have.
😆

Thank you!
Why not airbrush the metallic and the contrast on top? Why do it with a brush? I see it all the time but don't get why people do it.
Just read a couple of comments, take a look on my channel before you ask silly questions and you will figure it out Sherlock ;)
