- PC port of Crazy Taxi 3 running on SteamDeck using CT3Tweaks (1280x800 @ 60fps) and audio mod (original soundtrack from XBox). Analog joystick left/right. Digital gas/brake.
Download (updated December 20, 2023 with graphics fix): mega.nz/file/l...
Add CT3.exe as non-steam game. Force compatibility with Proton 7.0-4 or Proton GE.
Rename game in Steam to "Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller" then get community controller layout.

THE FOLLOWING IS FIXED WITH THE NEW DOWNLOAD:
There are some visual glitches that pop in/out during gameplay but nothing game-breaking. The only big issues are the final score/license graphics are corrupted and the menu is corrupted after Game Over. In corrupted menu; simply press accept twice to character selection then back out again (as seen near end of video) to get menu functioning again.
Video captured directly from SteamDeck using Crankshaft and Recapture. There's a few dropped-frames in the video but gameplay itself is nice & smooth on SteamDeck. First 15-20 seconds are just to show artwork and community controller layout.

Just tried to install this and I couldn't even get it to boot up 😢
It's been a while since I played. Tried today and it works fine with;
- the latest GE Proton (9-10)
- old GE Proton version I still had (7-43)
- latest official Proton (9.0-2)
Crazy Taxi is playable with all versions from what I could tell with my quick tests. I will still use GE 7-43 because the loading screen animation is correct.
The pain. I was so excited to play this on my Deck but after 2 hours I have to give up. I tried everything, nothing works. I tried various proton. GE and others, I tried every .exe and nothing open. At most I have a little black window that open and it close immediately.
did you ever manage to fix the menus?
Issue is fixed if you use DgVoodoo 2
As pointed out by @Sgakensymd, DGVoodoo fixes the corrupted graphics. Copy the DLL as described in the install instructions and then run the configurator to disable the watermark (under DirectX tab). Run CT3 with Proton 8.0-3, GE recently added a small bug where the loading screen animation is upside down.
