I am so happy you are reacting to this show! The main plot is pretty serious, but the show really tries to stay funny and show light moments as well. Basically Gen is trying to overcome internalised homophobia and Aoey, I think, is pretty clear what she went through. So far I really enjoy the show. I read the novel, which is the worst one out of this writer 😂 ( yes it's the same one as Gap, Blank, Dream and Affair....). The show changed many things and I think they did great job with what they had to work with 😅
