True, but that's because of the 'gabber culture' of hardcore music in the 90's. The Air (Max) Classic BW was very popular in those days (in Holland and Germany). But also the Air Max 90 and the Air Max 95, as far as I can remember, were hot in that scene. 😬
Hi. I've been wearing this particular Nike Air Max shoe since around 1993/1994. Have had countless pairs over the years. Do you remember one of the first ever colours of them. They were a red/black. Can't find a picture of them anywhere. Also, in the Nike shops in the 90's, was a huge air max bubble on display next to the Air Maxes. Was awesome.
Bw’s was a very big staple of the gabber scene(main music back then in Germany and Netherlands kind of still is) back in the 90’s and kinda still is a big staple over there but here in the U.K. bw’s ain’t really a big thing
Air classic BW are totally overlooked, and are more comfortable than the 90. I had these in grey/grey/grey, and back in 1996 I had the Olympic ones, as the us flag looks cool.
I have 8 pairs of these I collected 3 of which are the violets. Nike said early last year they was not making the classic bw no more. but they are releasing them again this year!
One of the best looking Max's. Yep i'm Dutch and i just bought a pair of cargo kaki ones. (€130) Love the 180, 93, silver 97, Huarache and Puma Blaze Of Glory too. (I'm 39yo now

I need your help I got some classic bw which are mainly white with gold blue and red nike logo and a multi colour insole of people and on the bottom has red green blue yellow and black squares I paid 2 for them from a carbooot there genuine
If you own this shoe you have good taste but if you love this shoe you are European.. also did Jordan just admit seriously helping Nike make it brand better and to help them actually keep some world class
Why they were sold mostly in germany and the netherlands is because they were part of the standard "hardcore raver" outfit in germany and the netherlands in the 90's. Every raver "hardcore raver" wore these. Ugliest Air Max imo.
@@Sergey_Timchenko the problem is nobody outside of the EU buys them...so the production capacity goes to shoes that sell a shit ton worldwide. If we don't get new ones next year to the 30th anniversary, it's all over...

I'm exactly the same. Been wearing BWs since I was old enough to buy my own trainers. It's getting harder to get them nowadays though.
