The altitude of Rishop and kolakham are very different. You will get to see different species of birds at these two different places. Some birds would be common. I would suggest you to stay at both the places for atleast 2 nights each and explore. For more information you can contact me on WhatsApp 9501918493
Try to visit in Feb - March.. weather starts to get warm in the month of April and birds start to move to high altitude regions.The ghurpis flower blooms during Feb -march you will get to see a lot of birds during this time. If you are planning to visit in April try to visit high altitude places like gairibas, Senchal WLS, rishop, Zuluk, padamchen in East sikkim or places in North Sikkim.

Rishep is also the best place to capture Green magpie (Dhorekohli). Lava-Rishep-Kolakham range is a 10/10 spot for tourists to birders.
