There is a fairly easy solution to avoid this problem at all; Don't go in to fast, avoid water go over the bonnet/hood, use momentum to keep the bow-wave ahead of the vehicle and use it to keep an open space for air to still travel through the grille. But foremost, be sure it aint to deep first before even thinking of going in, especially with lightweight hatchbacks 😂
