Allah ordered in the Quran the wealthy to give charity to the poor but He never ordered the poor to beg for money by the wealthy, how so? During the time of islam the wealthy gave to the poor, not because they were begging for it but the wealthy felt like they had to take care for the poor or is there any evidence where it shows some people examples where they beg for rizk or any claim to beg for rizk? And than we have another great perfect example like prophet Ayyub (alayhi salam). Why did he refused and forbid his wife to sell her hair while he was very sick and had nothing to eat? It is an example for the ummah to behave like the prophets. Charity is for people that are in real need, no matter who they are. It does not mean one can beg for rizak because when you do that by the people, you become automatically a human begger and not one that put his trust in the Creator.
