Not here, you fire off some rounds during the day and they start to show up at 3AM. Sad when even the coyotes know when you cant do anything about it due government regulations... Canada is getting worse and worse. Like I said.. Geese too you watch how they sit on the outskirts of the cities where you can't shoot. Speaks for itself when even pests know how limited we are by these idiotic liberal regulations when most people don't even know or care.

I had a browning A bolt in 270 win with a Boss. Never really got to use it to its full potential on the Westcoast of the south island New Zealand. Used it on Red deer and Tahr.
Nice looking setup. I'm running an 80gr TTSX @3400 in 243. Tikka t3 Superlite with factory 1/10 barrel. It stacks 3 shots of the 80's and does ok with most between 70 and 90. It is an excellent varmint /whitetail setup. I'm thinking about a rebarrel for the heavyweights. Better BC to buck wind. 6 creed looks good but since I'm set up to load .243 I'll probably stay there. Anything with factory ammo option is better just in case for me. That E.C.Tuner really work's. I don't own one but have seen multiple in video's doing their thing. Nice video. Keep'em coming
I've found with tuners, they can tune a load for a day and conditions for that day. But under different conditions and weather and Temps. They change and need re-tuned. When hunting, you don't have that luxury. If you are at a match, you do. Best way is HL find load with wide node that changing weather and Temps will not change you POI. Tuners just allow for minor tweaks that Hunters don't have time to shot and adjust for.
You'd have to do a lot of testing to prove that out....how do you know it's not the myriad of other variables it could be, mainly powder, that can change things drastically even with temp stable powder........
Comes in at just under $500 Cdn. It was worth it but gets very steep when you consider import "Doody" and currency conversion. Unfortunately the retailers that resell them here in Canada IE Dominion mark Eric's prices up substantially.
I'm just wondering, if you tune your reloads to the rifle, the tuner wouldn't be needed i assume. then you can run your suppressor with tuned reloads shooting as good as you got with the tuner but moderated noise level.
I don't reload. That's my problem, but I am planning on it. And yea, I could tune the ammo to the gun and then run the suppressor. But even with the suppressor, for shooting coyotes out to 400 I would be fine with the group it shot with the suppressor. Thanks for watching.
If that big banana hanging in the front of the Rifle, it’s so quiet why do you wear ear pro? And if it’s not quiet, why the hell put that on your rifle?
One of the biggest mistakes I have ever made with a firearm was Putting the EC tuner on my 300PRC and firing it with no hearing protection. Was used to it without the brake but after that one shot with the brake I couldn't hear properly for almost a week after. You NEED ear protection when shooting a brake like this.
Been doing research about the problems your having w your savage 338 lapua . Looks like savage is known for having really loose bores and super slopy chambers so I'm guessing you got a lemon. Good luck but if it was me id trade it n cut your losses. You will and already have spent so much $$$ on ammo . Just trade it b my advice
I’ve heard you talk about shooting big game at some stupid distances…. If you think that first group “isn’t bad”. You really have zero business shooting long range at animals.
Shooting of that bag will be more accurate that using a magpul bipod. The bag allows the rifle to settle and slide freely under recoil where the bipod will hop and skip when the rifle is fired causing inconsistent tracking of the rifle. Always use a bag or pack on lighter weight hunting rifles to get the most accuracy and precision out of it.
I love my burris veracity ph. I dont like mil or moa. I set it to yards, so much easier for me. The app inputs the weather and shows the hold left or right. Its 100% a cheat code.
Usually when you run out of ammo a coyote shows up.
Lol always.

what is the small tool kit you have with you on the bench?

Great video, always very informative for all your viewers. Thank you for sharing!
Try reloading using Sierra bthp bullets. If I remember right I use the 52 and 55 grain pills. It's a tac driver.
Reminds me of my Browning Boss 338 win mag.

Thanks for watching. 👍
I rebarreled my .243 to 1:8. I shoot the 112 matchburners.

Thanks.

Nice set up, I’m in south east wy wish I knew which outfit you were with would like to get some more info from you
Look up Trophy Ridge Outfitters. That's where I work. Thanks for watching.
Very nice. I've been considering an EC tuner. May I ask how much? And, what phone attachment do you use for the spotting scope? I'm shopping now

I like cortina's brakes put one on my 7prc it shoots very well

Still playing around with ec tuner brake on my 7prc. Hoping it helps like on your gun. That cut down your group size by 2moa. 👍 win.
Just bought a 6 arc savage 110 for coyotes
Nice caliber. 👍
Seems to be a lot of vertical in the groups. Im suspicious of the firing pin assembly.
He has his head up his azz
You would do really well with good handloads... a lot of yours were vertical... tune up a load buddy!
Thanks for watching. 👍

I guide over 50 hunters a year. I always try and wear hearing protection. To save what I have left.

You NEED ear protection when shooting a brake like this.
I’ve made that mistake before, it’s brutal.
Keep it coming
Nice looking
I would have liked to see the group with neither fitted. The first groups seemed quite poor.
Nice 👍🏼
Spin drift👍

3440 FPS is marginal!! My 35 Whelen is faster!!!!!
Sorry as I couldn’t resist here as that is cookin!!!
Is that the Cortina tuner brake??
Yes, it is. Thanks for watching.
I’ve heard you talk about shooting big game at some stupid distances…. If you think that first group “isn’t bad”. You really have zero business shooting long range at animals.
I think you’re reading a little more meaning into his “not bad” choice of words than what he intended.
@@11230321 he called it good with shitty grouping. I didn’t read into anything, I watched how he approaches what is good enough.
Dude!!! :) Put a Magul bipod on that rifle. The bipod probably weighs less than the bag you're using and it'll be more stable.
The bag is filled with foam beads it's lightweight. I will check out those bipods though. Thanks for watching.
