Yo, you could have walked to the beach. If you kept walking straight, on the street you were on, it turns into the beach. It would have been a 3 min walk for you...When you told the moto you wanted to go to the beach--he could have told you that. There was no need, to go all the way around to the Los Charamicos entrance? Dudes be scamming. SMH
Never saw that one Caribe station..i know there is one out past charamico's. I usually take the Metro but will try caribe next time. I have also used that place for a Covid test..real quick and convenient. I have the name in my wallet for net trip as well. Hopefully by then they will stop this testing to get back to the states. And yeah, I said I was done with Sosua but now I just spend a day or two and that's it.
I agree. After 3 days in Sosua I am usually ready to leave but it has a great Expat community of retired military/ firefighters/law enforcement etc. etc. I enjoy the tranquil life of the Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 and I hope to make it my home very soon.

And...You need to negotiate the price with the motoconcho driver before you swing your leg over to climb on the back or you will always pay more! When I finally learned this, I realized how easy it was to be paying way more than necessary! I lived there briefly right in that area. Obviously. Keep travelin'!

The strip clubs are the brothels which is legal in the whole country. $15.00 in the club or $100. Give or take for 24hrs. I usually do Air bnb ocean front condos. I recommend Salinas Ecuador.
