The story about the burning house was a bit of a let down at the ending. I feel like there was more to the story that was left out. What did the teacher do about the drawing? Did she ask the kid for more information? Did she ask the parents or whoever is responsible for the boy about the drawing? If it was a true story or the boy just made it up?
Yes exactly, I wanted an explanation for that. Did the teacher ever confront the parents? Same with story 3, did they ever find out who was physically harming their daughter
@@Grim-Nuzzle their probably just curious
@@nsasupporter7557Considering she woke up bleeding with scratch marks & there was no sign of an intruder. If you believe in the possibility of ghosts, it very much could be. There are tons of documented stories about similar situations with deep scratch marks not from living physical beings or objects.
Well, it’s entirely possible that the kid was new, and he had just been put into a foster home or taken away from his parents either recently or even had been saved at a very young age while he could have only recently just been told what his parents tried to do to him before he was saved and relocated-therefore he was troubled by it-he also could have had a more recent nightmare about it.

Jess drew Lucia as sunny, smiling, and in pretty polka dots. It’s was a very positive picture. I think he4 aunt is a friendly being who is watching over her niece. Maybe just keeping an eye on what they talk about to make sure it stays that way would be safe enough. I don’t feel any malevolence

Letting them draw? How does one stop a child from drawing and painting. It's not fantastic, it's basic. The other side of this, depraving children of something that humans have done since before history (ie writing) is abuse. Please have some standards and stop congratulating people for nothing.
The third story with the scratch marks is definitely one of the creepiest. Physical harm to a child is a line too far crossed

I never got why people would be scared of deceased relatives peacefully visiting loved ones. Same vein as the first story. My niece had night terrors for a few months when she was a toddler. As fast as it started, my sister said they stopped. My niece creeped us all out by saying, she'd see shadows surround her bed to scare her. Then one night an old lady that looked like her grandma (my mom) showed up, made them leave and promised she'd stay with her so she can sleep.
We all thought, good imagination.
Years later, at my parents house, my mom was showing old pictures. My niece got all excited, pointed at one, said that was the old lady that helped her. It was one of my grandma, my mom's mom. Who passed away 10 years before my niece was born.
Instead of creeping me out, it made me smile knowing, she's still looking out for her family.
Probably because ghosts have long been a source of fear in our history, even before movies were ever invented.

That second story about that poor boy is so damn depressing. The fact that nearly being burned alive in a house fire by his own parents meant something to him was so gut-wrenching. I hope that kid is doing better wherever he may be.
edit: Mr. Nightmare has clarified in one of the other comments that the boy was adopted and the school was made aware of what had happened but this teacher was not, so that explains her reaction. I’m glad that he’s at least with a much better family and hopefully can heal from that experience.
Just downright disturbing to be honest
Yes, I wanted to know if the teacher ever confronted the boy’s parents about that… same with story 3, did they ever find out who “the monster” was that was causing physical harm to their daughter?

I feel Lucia was lovingly watching over and checking in on her niece. While I understand the parents' fear, they needn't have worried as passed-over loved ones are like guardian angels - they are deeply loving, kind and protective, the same as they would have been on Earth physically.
Then the kind blessing would have had no effect.
Not every deceased loved one is like that.
I felt sorry that they sent Lucia away.
They should not have asked Lucia to leave.

My son started claiming to see a boy in his room when he was 7 shortly after we moved into our new house, and drew a picture of this boy for me. It’s pretty creepy, with dark hair and empty eyes. He’s 8 now and although he hasn’t seen the boy in a while, he still stands firmly by his story. Couldn’t find anything in the 30 year history of the house to tell us who he might have been seeing.
Remember before the home was built 30years ago it was likely a empty lot and so,ethign could've happened
I personally don’t believe in ghost. But have you looked into the history of the neighborhood houses? That could be it if a kid died in a nearby house.
I know who he seen
There's a folk horror story about kids with blacked out eyes that come to your door and ask for a phone, or to come inside. If you let them in, then they'll never leave and slowly take the energy from a loved one or relative, killing them. This kind of story reminded me of it. Kinda scary how these things happen to kids

When me and my family lived in a small ass apartment, my 4-5 year old brother always said there were creatures he called "The Moo's" outside. Tall and Skinny? Sounds like Skinwalkers.

I understand that it was creepy to see Jess drawing and talking about a person she had never known or met but the pictures weren't bad. They could have just talked to Lucia, thanked her for checking on Jess and let Lucia know she can move on.

I don't get why everyone hating jess's parents. Like if your child is talking to a dead relative who you didn't even had a close relation with visiting your house everyday. You wouldn't just be sitting like "yeah good girl checking after my kid" they could be a freaking faker trying to hurt them! Also Lucia looked evil in all drawings
well I'm in Asia and there's this saying if a person passes away, their soul will reincarnate into the next life or still stay in hell/heaven for judment. They are not allowed to roam around freely in human world, so if you see something similar to that person, it is most likely "something else" imitates their images with bad intentions.

I took a clinical mental health for children class for grad school. Drawing is frequently used in therapy and weird or disturbing drawings seem to be relatively common. It is a great way for kids that may otherwise be non verbal to communicate things
Totally. I can’t look at any of my drawings from middle school when I was being pretty badly hurt by a teacher (being vague on purpose) because I was unconsciously trying to cope with that. The storylines for the comics I made, the colours I chose for my villain characters (this teacher always wore one colour everyday), how little detail I drew in self portraits, even the proportions of my villain characters vs the “good guys” really had an underlying meaning.
I think these child drawings with creepy backstories are my favorite vids.
Children come across so many different things and this shows us an opening to a world that we have/haven’t experienced, or possibly forgotten

My daughter was friends with two little neighbor girls, they would come over and draw the darkest and scariest pictures you’ve ever seen. All in black and blood in red. They moved, but I hope they’re doing okay, because those pictures still haunt me
when I was really little I drew dead mice and bodies a lot. The mice were likely because my cat used to leave them in my crib when I was a baby. Little kids are weird.
Either they like horror or they seen some stuff
@@ashtonanimations974 I remember being a kid and the most likely answer is that they just liked horror stuff. People who are like "oh this kid drew some black and red image, they must be disturbed by some real life trauma" forget how fuckin popular Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark book series was/is. Kids are just weird and like expressing really creepy stuff through drawings for no apparent reason.
The first one is proof that kids can see ghosts. I will never believe they can't. If I ever have a child who makes a ghost friend, I'm gonna make sure the ghost won't hurt us because I know it's real. If a kid sees it, then it's there.
I had this thing when I was a child where I would sleep walk to a random room and wake up talking to this man. Now I was young, so I wasn’t too concerned but I could never control the questions or answers that came from my mouth. I was never afraid of the man tho. He always would ask me about my family or about my day. All I remember of this man was I could never quite tell exactly where he was, weird I know. He also had the brightest green eyes I had ever seen. Now I would say this was a dream or something but I saw this man from ages 7-12 which is why I remember him so vividly. I moved out of that house, but I still see that man as a friend, no matter if it was a dream or a spiritual situation. My mum caught me “talking” to the man (again I couldn’t control my words), she told me that I would just stare into a corner and talk aimlessly about my day. A little freaky now, but it is a apart of my childhood.
With regard to the second story, I hope that the teacher, as a mandatory reporter, followed up with child services to investigate about the story of the picture.
Oh, according to Mr nightmare, the kid was adopted after the fire, he didn't live with his bio parents that tried to burn down his house with him in it.

Ghosts like that aren’t real.
I was obsessed with vampires as a kid because they were cool and I drew a vampire with a bowl of bloody-o's and a body hanging on a tree. My daughter was 4 when she told me about a “glotchy eyed monster” that was staring at her at night. I asked her to describe it to me, and it really freaked her out trying to, so I told her to draw it for me, and that scared her too. She could only tell me ot was really ugly and bleeding.
When my daughter turned 16, she remembered what it looked like, and being a skilled artist at this point, drew what it looked like all those years ago and showed me.
It was all black and had oozing, dripping oily residue just falling off of it, with four black horns on either side of its head, and large red glaring bleeding eyes. She said it had been twitching and thrashing itself back and forth whenever it walked, like ot was in constant pain.
This is a story abt me. When I was 8, I started seeing a girl in my house. Her name was something starting with H cause she kept repeating it sometimes. I started seeing her on the day was 24 November. She was a girl with blue eyes, Blone hair and a white dress. I belong to an Indian family. So my first language can't be English. But when I started speaking, I spoke in English. There was no one in my family who had taught me English. Then who had taught me this language? It is still a big mystery

When my neice was about 4, she kept talking about a man named Thomas that was bleeding from his eye, and he was always in the corner of the living room. 3 years later when they were moving out, the next door neighbor mentioned a man named Thomas who'd lived there several years ago that shot himself in the living room.
A house in Savannah has always bled through into a pink color every time someone paints it. Been confirmed so many times that no one has succeeded in changing the color, until a woman purchased the home in 1924 and kept the paint.
People say it bleeds with the spirits that died there, and there's a pretty rowdy character in that building.
@artdecocityarchitecture9394 that's horrifying, but also bad ass. Like, I'd be scared to be there but I would also like to see it lol
Imagine being the dead aunt of a child checking up on your family only for them to bless the house and get a "leave us in Peace"
It's demon, not aunt. Aunt is most likely in hell - if that demon knew her, he lived inside her and committed sins with no regrets.
This gave me chills but worth it
That first story creeped me out so much. Before, when I just saw the picture and didn’t know who the woman was, it creeped me out like no other. I’ve seen every other part of this series and none have creeped me out more than that one. I don’t know why, because the kids have drawn some pretty creepy stuff, but this one really creeped me out. I think it’s because it’s not the usual stick people that I’m used to and that the woman doesn’t look like a monster.
I'm gonna be honest the picture seemed weird to me too but for me it's because it doesn't look like a child drew it. It looks like an adult's copy of a child's drawing. There was just something off about it.

@@FrenkTheJoy You're right. Maybe it was 'Lucia's' drawing.
Out of the Mr. Nightmare horror story videos, the creepy kid’s drawings stories are some of my favorites.
As someone who’s interested in the creepy side of art, I find it disturbing when I see these children’s drawings, along with hearing the backstories behind them.
Why...?
@@mx.menacingWhat do you mean?
I truly believe that kids under the age 5 are so sensitive to the supernatural and spirits, similar to animals like because they are so young and close to the beginning of life the veil is thinner for them.
Both me and my siblings had instances of seeing a spirit or a supernatural event at the ages 3-4. If I ever have a child one day, I’m not gonna doubt or dismiss them if they say they see something. The parents who ignored the girl who got scratched made me so annoyed. I’m a teacher and yes sometimes kids lie or imagine but sometimes they are really really telling the truth and asking for help. I wish children were taken more seriously or believed more in these cases.
Vent art has nothing to do with this???Besides it aint creepy at all.
@@mx.menacingIn case you’re referring to why I find the creepy children’s drawings Mr. Nightmare has talked about so far disturbing, it’s not the drawings that freak me out, it’s the backstories behind them. After all, kids will draw what they know or what’s familiar to them, even if the subject is disturbing to most.
Loving the content my dude!
I’m really sure Mr. nightmare prepared us for this one
Dude I don’t understand people who want to get rid of spirits of family members that talk to the new kids of the family. “They were genuinely scared” OF YOUR CHILDS AUNT?! It’s honestly sweet that Lucia wanted to bond with Jess why take that away from her?!
Yeah I really don't get it either, that was messed up.
Apparently from what I’ve seen from another comment (I don’t personally believe in it but I think it may serve as some justification at least), it’s believed that people’s spirits never roam the earth, they either go to heaven, hell, or purgatory.
Chances are the ghosts and spirits that we see/encounter are actually demons who masquerade as deceased loved ones or individuals to gain trust, to hide their true nature, to feed off of the emotions of those who knew the loved one when they were still alive, etc. (demons are apparently known for doing stuff like that)
So if the parents at least believed in superstitions like what I’ve mentioned here (or briefly heard about it in passing somewhere) I don’t blame them too much for the actions they eventually made. I mean, they did call in a priest, so chances are they perhaps believed in such a rumor.
Because it’s a familiar spirit. It’s not their aunt. If it is then aye it’s sad. But if it’s not then what is it? It’s far to much of a risk opening doors to demonic forces.
The 3rd story with the daughter bleeding from scratch marks has paranormal written all over it. The monster was not a living human but most likely a "demon". It appears to have happened at night while she was sleeping & the story didn't allude to the idea of an intruder or even find another human in the house. Very interesting when you read/watch stories with scratch marks from the non living.
Thank you, finally someone gets it right and speaks the truth. 👏🏽 😉
But why would a demon do a little scratch to a child and then vanish?!?

I really enjoyed these stories & the original subject matter
I have a baby sister she will be 6 this month, and I could understand her a lot more from her drawing book. She draws all what happens at kindergarten and through out the day, maybe she draws the things she wants to remember.
I don’t see enough people talking about this. In the last story the child drew the “taking man”. This is extremely similar to another drawing made a couple years ago, but it was the “taking boy”. I have no idea if these are correlated in anyway, but it scares me about the similarity between the two.
Awwww the taking boy is all grown up now 😊

The 4th one was bizarre. If your brother is talking to someone under his bed, how do you just walk away while not even glancing under the bed? She blows off so much strange behavior…
I'd have checked under the bed. It could've been a mouse, a bug, or a legit creepy person under the bed. I've read enough news that I knew any of those is possible.

The first story is beautiful❤ a family member coming to visit? Thats amazing!
I love these types of videos that show creepy drawings and actually give us back story
My grandpa has a story of one of his younger brothers who passed away from a brain aneurysm when he was little. The day before the aneurysm, he drew a picture of a clock at a specific time and himself next to it frowning with a spike directed to his head. The next day he died from the brain aneurysm at the same time he drew on the clock. Idk if they still have the drawing anywhere but it would be chilling to see
As a Catholic the first story really brings it all Home for me
Love the way you draw my eyes with your eyes open to see how beautiful your smile looks like in your life and I will always love you forever
Mr. Nightmare never disappoints.

That first story gave me chills, despite it being 101° here in Texas. Kids see what we can not.
It's been a while since I've been genuinely freaked out by these stories, until I saw that picture in the 3rd one. I wanna put myself in that girl's shoes for a second. I think I would get a heart attack
Great content. Perfect to watch when you're home alone with the lights out. But.....hard to tell if this actually happened, or if its just being made for views & monetization
Bro, that second story is heartbreaking. This teacher was told that this kid was almost killed in a fire by his parents, and didn't have the nerve to tell anyone.
Mr nightmare said on a comment that the kid was adopted since the burning and the school knew about the burning and adoption but the teacher didn’t
It's interesting the one about the dead aunt visiting upset the parents. Usually visits from deceased loved ones is thought of differently.
Maybe they don’t believe in the afterlife?
In some cultures it’s see as a bad omen
Perfect video to watch before bed ☺️

Agreed 😊
that second one was is really sad. i don't know if its true, but to think that he even thought of that is a little concerning. hope he 1. gets the help he needs or 2. says the truth (if he was lying)
I was kind of upset that stories 2 and 3 didn’t have proper endings.
Did the teacher in story 2 ever confront the boy’s parents?
Did the parents in story 3 ever learn who “the monster” was that was causing physical harm to their daughter?
Story 3 was 100% paranormal
@@rhdbmw9361some insidious type shit
The boy in the story 2 was taken away from the parents. He is now with a new family. I found this information in one of the other comments in this video

That 1st story 🫣 Idk what it’s called (Old wives’ tale?) but, if the spirit of a family member/friend visits you, they have something important to tell you.
If it’s an unknown spirit…be extremely weary 😳👀
Poor Lucia 😢 she just wanted to hang out with her niece.
@@IRONFIST-oo8yhyounwonder how the girl knew of her dead aunt
@@zacharyjochumsen9677 I assumed the spirit told her all about herself. There was clearly conversations occurring between them. Whether it was the aunt for real, or a demon/other evil spirit masquerading....that is a mystery. The parents feeling uneasy about it might be a telling point, that it was an impostor.

Well in my opinion, lucia is Jess's neighbor friend because l think jess don't have friends in school So when she walk to go home, she find lucia in lucia's house and jess talk to lucia so much and jess & lucia become friends, So in my theory this is why jess make draw on lucia.
My daughter once drew a terrifying picture. It was of a girl with long hair and a disfigured face and a limp neck. Once I saw this drawing, I called my grandma to bless the house. It worked. But we still ended up moving houses.
Mr Nightmare this creeps me out and i have nightmares for the rest of week it gives me the chills🥶🥶🥶🥶

New ish fan! All of your stories scare me, Mr. Nightmare... but this is the first time I legitimately felt chills and fear the whole video all throughout. The fact that children are innocent but manage to draw things that grown ups can't ever even imagine, it's enough to feel scared both at the paranormal and what they experience from people. I love your videos, keep up the good work! I hope the people here are okay though, especially the kids.

Hm, interesting. This is probably one of the only few videos I can watch from Mr Nightmare that actually won't freak me out too much to the point I can safely watch it at night. Funny how that's the complete opposite from you.
I don’t think anyone can narrate stories better than Mr. Nightmare. Also the story at 6:30 really speaks to me, because in my childhood room (before I had a cross put up) every now and then felt uneasy and strange feelings. My parents have also told me(cause I never remembered what happened after I woke up)that I told them about people in my closet talking to me. Also how I was also scared sometimes and that I couldn’t breathe. Since I had the cross put up I never had another experience, but literally any time it was taken down I did.
First one was nothing to worry about. Our departed loved ones come to visit all the time. During 2020 and lockdowns I had extreme insomnia so I was awake most nights until at least 3am. The number of times I heard footsteps in the dining room was insane. I’d check every time and there was never any physical person there. But since I never felt creeped out, it was likely ‘upstairs folk’ checking on us.
Third and fourth pictures though - that needs sorting pronto. Neither of those beings are good. At best they’re mischievous with a side of malicious, at worst…yeah sage the houses, get blessings, holy water whichever you fancy. Those things are not welcome.
The first story was kinda depressing but mainly unsettling as hell, the second story was just devasting, the third one was worrying, and the last one stuck with me.
The name “The Taking Man” definitely sends a shiver up my spine. Very creepy.
@gurditasingh6598 you got absolutely NO likes 😂
That first story gave me the chills, like the girl was really talking to a ghost of Lucia who was the mother's deceased sister.
@justagamer822 I wasn't trying to be "funny"
Thanks for giving a full review, no one asked for it you toad butt
That last story creeped me out
That first one's sad but regrettably predictable. That girl has a genuine gift but they're stifling because they can only associate the dead with negativity and fear. I hope Jess can manage to retain and develop her talent.
The last one's wild. Little bro has serious witch potential.
What the parent's did in the first story is what any parent would and should do. A demon or any negative entity could have started talking to her. What if that ghost of her aunt was also a demon because demons do take form of the deceased. They did the right thing by putting an end to it. Things could have gotten bad.
Yeah I felt really bad for Jess she was genuinely bonding with her aunt why take that away from your child??
What really baffled me was there were no proper endings to the second and third stories… did that teacher ever confront the boy’s parents about trying to burn the house down with him in it? Did the parents ever find out who “the monster” was that was causing physical harm to their daughter? Those are questions that need to be answered, they just left us hanging
@@Luna_Anonymousand what if it was actually the aunt who was trying to bond with her niece?? Why take that away from your kid?? Plus seeing spirits is actually an amazing and useful gift that I honestly wish I had.
Daddy’s doughnuts can cure weed dealers paranoia 😊
I actually feel kind of bad for this "Lucia" ghost. Both pictures, even the one where she was being drawn after confronted by the parents, she's smiling. She didn't seem to mean any harm and just wanted to connect with a relative who could see her.
I did too. I cannot help but think the same way you do: That she wanted to communicate with a relative that would (and could) speak with her. Children are often said to be more 'in tune' with the spirit world. There is, however, an ominous feeling in how the parents felt that uneasy. Demons & other evil entities can mimic our loved ones, to find a way 'in'.
Better safe than sorry.
Well you never know if Lucia had a grudge against the mom and wanted to get back at her by getting close to her daughter and then hurting her
@@zacmayes2802no
@@taracollins5597 Yeah, normally people who believe they're visited by deceased love ones say that they feel comforted and loved, although often they're startled at first. The mom feeling super uneasy about what was ostensibly the sister's ghost is odd and I don't really blame them for deciding to just bless the house and not communicate with her. Just like you said, dark entities can mimic the appearance of loved ones and communicating with them is a bad idea.
Assuming that paranormal stuff is real and not a mass hallucination experienced by like a quarter of the population.
10:59 nah that's tragic bro was getting free cranberries I wish they didn't find the takin man
Not the cranberries 😭 now that's scary
Hahaha I love you
I really appreciate the teacher in the second story simply cancelled draw and tell instead of only preventing the boy. That was very considerate.
