      In essence, yes: you have both the 4 slots in every bank which change seamlessly (as you can hear in the video), as well as footswitches, which can be assigned to the various blocks in your signal chain. Switch in and out to your heart's content like on a real pedalboard, and with no lag.

      Yes, you can definitely use the footswitches to turn one or several blocks (pedals, amp, etc.) ON and OFF.
      But if you want the footswitches to change the settings in your blocks (pedals, amp, etc.), you will need to save the separate settings (think of them as snapshots) onto different slots of your designated bank. For example 64 A, B, C, or D. And switch between them freely, while ALSO being able to just switch pedals ON or OFF, with the other footswitches. You have 8 footswitches here, all the functions you can need are factory ready!

    Is there any difference between this and the regular gp 200 besides the color?

    • @PairofPandas
      @PairofPandas  20 дней назад

      Yes there is! Please watch the main demo for full detail:
      ruclips.net/video/sgkr0kkeJoU/видео.html
      There are several small differences actually, besides the new colorway:
      1. improved footswitches. The originals are great too, but these are said to be more precise.
      2. improved ON/OFF switch. Slightly different action from original, plus once you turn it OFF, there is no more residual noise going to your interface. Dead quiet as needed, zero wait!
      Firmware stuff should be for everyone, not sure about the presets though. The artist presets, with Pair of Pandas presets too, might be just in this one. We'll have to check and see.

    Hi, great demo. I'm just wondering if it's possible to stack two modulation like a phaser and a tremolo at the same time in the new model? Thanks a lot

      @PairofPandas  2 месяца назад +1

      Thank you deeply for being here with us! ❀ʕ 。•㉨•ʔ人ʕ•㉨•。 ʔ❀
      There are some modulation algorithms that you can stack: for example 2 auto-swells (Boss SG-2) or 2 hammy's (Digitech Whammy). Or an autowah and a phaser. But other combinations such as a phaser and a tremolo are not currently available.

    Why all the changes on the volume knop. Does the presets not have the same output. If not why not make them so that they do.

    • @PairofPandas
      @PairofPandas  28 дней назад +1

      That is easy, haha! There are literally ZERO modelers on Earth (including Fender TMP, Neural Cortex, Boss, etc.) that have identical volume between presets. None.
      Why this is the case is more complex. The difference between presets can very depending on pickups. Nevertheless, all guitars and all input signal levels seem to have a huge discrepancy between presets in absolutely all modelers. So it is what it is.

      @PairofPandas Well, that dosen't make sense to me. I have a Line 6 Pod HD500X. And all the presets i made my self have the same output even if theres different amp models used. When i save a preset i make sure that the output volume matches all my other presets. I trust thats the idea with presets. To be able to switch between sounds and amps without having to adjust the volume each time.

    • @PairofPandas
      @PairofPandas  28 дней назад

      @@Lars.H.Pedersen Wait, you are missing the point: the presets that you made YOURSELF, of course those are of the same level! You can do this in literally ANY modeler out there.
      We were not talking about this. We were talking about FACTORY presets. There are ZERO modelers without volume differences between factory presets. Period.
      Our presets (there are two of them in the factory set Valeton GP-200X) actually are all the same level when played with a Les Paul. Obviously, dynamics can vary the volume further a bit, but yes, the presets we made OURSELVES have matched output volume.

    • @Lars.H.Pedersen
      @Lars.H.Pedersen 28 дней назад

      @PairofPandas I know, but I guess that it is possible to edit factory presets to, or at least copy them to empty slots and then edit an level the volume. The other thing gives absolut no mening to mee.

    • @PairofPandas
      @PairofPandas  28 дней назад +2

      @@Lars.H.Pedersen Yes, you can, but it doesn't come from the factory like that. You could even sit down and physically redo ALL the presets, delete everything, make new everything and have 264 or so custom made presets just the way you want them. Valeton allows that.
      But this video is about FACTORY presets. Not modifications.
      If you want another video about making your own signal chain for the Valeton GP-200X, please subscribe: we may have just what you need coming here soon!

    How to get the new presets without restarting the unit? I have the LT

    • @PairofPandas

      Thank you for watching, and please subscribe for more awesome panda action!
      Q: How to get the new presets without restarting the unit? I have the LT
      A: Please update to firmware package 1.6.3. It won't reset the unit: your parches will likely stay, unless they occupy slots between 26A and 32D. If your presets are saved anywhere between 26A and 32D, save them in another slot too. For example in 64 A B C or D. Go to the official website, download the latest GP-200 LT software AND firmware 1.6.3, and follow the instructions.

      @@PairofPandas I've already done this, on the GP200 (not the LT, it's the normal one) and 26A to 32D continue to be my usual presets

    • @PairofPandas
      @PairofPandas  2 месяца назад

      @@ruanmoro Interesting. This could mean the new patches are NOT part of the new firmware. In this case, the only way to get the new patches would be to buy the limited edition GP-200X. They may be hard-coded to it, outside of firmware changes.
      If you want, we can check with our other GP-200 devices, do the update on them and see if the patches change. Let us know if that would help! dʕ。◠㉨◠。ʔʕ。◠㉨◠。ʔb
