Why do you think Nike made such a slender, narrow shoe for Zion? I’d be very surprised if he has that kind of foot-shape, much less the majority of the rest of the public
After purchasing your basketball shoe guide & going through a bunch of your reviews, I've decided I'm going to go with the LeBron 21s, since they're one of the few shoes within the top 10 that's easily attainable & some are half off on Nike. Different colorways have different materials though, what would be the best material for basketball? I'll be hooping indoors with these, if that matters. I've seen some people on Reddit complain about the ones where the upper feels like plastic.
The narrow fit is terrible. The drop in midsole digs into the side of your foot really bad after a few times down the court. But I will say that I love the court feel in these more than any other basketball shoe I've tried in years. The grip is very trash as well. If these had good grip and a wider drop in midsole this would be the best designed shoe in the NBA this year.
Zach, I’m 31 yrs old. I have had knee pain and knee weakness since High School but I still very much enjoy playing basketball. My knees ache for days after playing. What shoes do you recommend that have the best knee support? Thanks!

There’s so much I wanna say but this is a great video. Felt similar about the toes and the insole… I just assume it’s gonna expand / my foot is gonna leave an impression / sink into the drop in over time
Hey foot doctor! My dad uses the babalot sfx 4 tennis shoe for tennis and absolutely adores them. I wanted to see you give them a try sense you might like and it would be interesting to see what makes them so comfortable in the midsole.
the straps may provide good support but they are ugly as heck...i always wanted to try the Lindor by New Balance but those god-awful ugly straps just take away from the shoe
assuming companies value your opinion like how i and other do, why dont they commision guys like you for an opinion if the original zion 3 is really better aside from the dorsal strap
Good question - we’re hoping in the 45-60 usd range - it’s about the most tricked out thing out there and being as small as a company can get we don’t get discounts on materials haha, we certainly didn’t cheap out on material that’s for sure
Haha thanks - should be getting going in the summer- the testing phase has been a slog just tweaking things here and there- when you see what’s actually in them you’ll understand why it took so long
Jordan brand should learn from Li-ning (WOW to be specific) because all their drop in midsoles shoe release are all fire! for this Zion 3 to Zion 3 SE the only upgrade I see was the Strap 🥲🥲

The dorsal retention strap really made the fit much better it seems like. Definitely an upgrade for me great review.
