Hi! Thanks for watching and glad you found this interesting! Do you meanthe splash playing with the hihat? Yep, with AD2 you can. You only need to make sure to calibrate the vh11 correctly on the module and have the mapping on AD2 the more accurate as posible. This video is from some years ago, now I think I have a better triggering. You can watch my newest drum covers to hear the sound!
Hi! What do you think of this compared to the Fairfax 2? For drums like Warpaint (checkout their song Whiteout), would you recommend this kit? Thank you!
Thanks for checking and leaving your question! I just checked that song and I wouldn't reccomend the fairfax 1 because it's a really dry and crispy sound. I like better the 1 than the 2. To say the truth, nowadays I'm playing a lot with retro bundle adpack and the modern sould one! I invite you to check my latest videos to hear what sounds do I trigger today.
Hey guy, nice setup! The TD25k is a solid price conscious e kit, but I seriously recommend you upgrade the headphones to something like Audio-Technica m50x. They sound so much better than those cheap Akg k44. I know, cause I started out with those. They were harsh, unbalanced and super trebly.
I know, thanks! When it comes to upgrade gadgets I always forget or procrastinate the headphones... it sounds amazing with this ones I can't imagine how will with good ones! Thanks a lot!
Hi there! Thanks for checking! Actually I don't remember if it was the standalone or running trhu Logic pro. Nevertheless if it was running a DAW I never tweak the sounds with more plug in's so what you hear is the AD2 samples.🙂
@@DarylDCChestnut feel free to contact me via fb or instagram whenever you want! If you take a look to newer covers or livestreams you'll hear me playing SD3 without any tweaking, just running a DAW. So nice to meet you!
Nice video, did you able to connect the open and closed hithat from the plugins going to the electronic drum kit?

Dad-e-drums thanks! What kit would you recommend for that song? 🙂
Emmanuel probably some one of the Rock studio or Pop Studio.
Btw do they have a drummer or they just program the drums on a daw?

Is this just addictive drums, or did you also run a DAW?
