Y’all should explore spring grove in Catonsville MD, especially the power plant (the building with a smokestack) is pretty easy to get in and one of the doors are unlocked (there still is security at spring grove and some buildings are still in use so be careful)
Thank you for making this video. The middle school I went to is right near here, and my grandpa and I would always drive by this place. We would talk about exploring it, but we never did. I’m going to send this to my grandpa so we can both finally learn what’s really in there. It might be creepy, but it brings back good memories.
As can be seen from the masks outside this place is still pretty popular but much less than in the 90s and 2000s due to security. Back in the day no one gave a shit and left teenagers to rummage through the place but now it can be a little tricky to get in. Same goes for Crownsville, though that place is so infested by asbestos that it really *is* a danger to the public. PS. wear a face mask or a respirator when exploring these places. Forest Haven especially has a big issue with mold that you really don't wanna be breathing in for a while. That's also why those masks are strung up, you don't wanna carry in tainted masks covered in mold or asbestos and have them lying around. And please please DON'T run from security, that's a great way to catch a trespassing charge. Just explain that you are filming or exploring and they'll almost always let you off the hook.
I agree it’s already creepy but exploring this at 2 or 3 in the morning was downright terrifying esp when you can’t see the random 40 foot drops outside into the tunnels
We would park at the car dealer ship and climb up a wall, walk across the street which leads you to the actual gates and a long walk through the woods, it’s pretty hard if you don’t have someone with you that knows already
I absolutely agree lol the place isn't worth protecting. Although, it's got a collage open on the property now which could be a part of it, or else they are trying to stop people from going into the buildings for safety reasons, I don't know honestly.
Yes! Be quiet! Use stealth. If you go at night don't be flashing your light all over the place! Avoid other explorers. Remember the security won't go inside looking for you. They wait until you come out. Main thing is be quiet and don't be flashing your lights all over the place. Be safe.
