I have always wanted to try vlogging, and realized now should be the best time since I'm gonna be studying abroad!
Anyways, welcome to my first video!
I made this to help students who are overwhelmed and confused with the process of studying in the UK. Trust me. I know how it feels. So hopefully this guide video helps you a lot, and I get to see you in the UK someday!!

hi Keith, i am already here in UK and have bachelor degree and then currently working in NHS as nursing assistant and my employer asking me to take English and math but I have a degree already so they want me to apply in naric but not really sure if naric will give my equivalent

Hi! The video is very informative. Thanks for sharing. What about the IHS? Did you have to pay for it as well? And did you have to pay the school fees outright or pwede installment? TIA!
Yes you would have to pay for the IHS, depending on the visa type. For student visas, then you will. Regarding school fees, I had to pay a deposit amount in order to secure my spot! But this would depend on your univ of course 😊 but advisable din po to pay the full tuition agad to avoid complications sa visa application. I hope this answers your question!

hello! ik this would probably differ per university/course but since you already had a record of undergraduate studies beforehand, did you still need to take a foundation year or were you diretso na to year 1? thank you!
Hello! I have to take a short course/foundation before going directly to 1st year of an undergrad degree in my current univ. Since I'm aiming for a top fashion school, they recommended this because my previous record of studies were still lacking to their standard. Although there were other univs that accepted me for a degree right away! 🙂

Hello! So sorry for responding late. If you are on a student visa, you have a maximum amount of hours for part time work as a student per week that you are not allowed to exceed. This regulation may change tho! Hope this helps :)

Hello! For a students visa, you can still work but only for a certain amount of hours per week :)

How much the tuition fees?
Hi Keith, just wanna ask kasi nabasa ko dapat may savings kang £1,332 per month for 9 months when applying for the visa. iba pa ba yung babayarang tuition sa university?
Also, can u give us an idea kung paano ung terms of payment sa tuition fee. were u required to pay half or full before magstart ung class?
Hello! I'm not sure about what youre asking. But all you need to know is that the monthly bank statements have to show that you/your sponsor are capable of funding your education. Dapat maassure sila na kakayanin mo magbayad ng tuition, living costs, school materials, etc. Regarding tuition, it depends sa school. My school required a deposit of a partial amount of the tuition in order to secure my position under the course. Afterwards, I'll have a pending amount for the full tuition fee. Although it is advisable to pay it fully right away to avoid problems with visa application. I hope this answers your question po! 😊
Hello po, permission to ask about referee section in UCAS. After sending request to the referee, what sample ideas po regarding sa ibibigay na link ng Admission Office to the referee? Is there a link that contains lot of objective questions or will the referee needs to write a testimonial like with standard count characters to follow? Hope this will answer my query po. Thank you!

Hello! The referee will need to write a testimonial about the candidate (you). From what I know, the link sent to the referee should contain all the details they'll need to know to write a reference po for you including a video guide on how to write it. I hope this answers your question! 😊

Is this applicable for grade 9 student here in Philippines. My daughter planning to continue her grade 10 school at UK.

Hi Jerico! Super glad you found the video useful! And thank you so much sa support 😁 regarding your question, nasa Pilipinas ako nung nagasikaso ako for the UK. For requirements when applying sa university sa UK, I did it on my own. But for VISA, like I mentioned sa vid, it was IDP Manila. I recommend you take your english test there kasi pagkatapos mo itake yun, may counselor na tutulong sayo regarding the requirements for visa! Regarding the tuition, depending on the university its around £3-5k if youre paying per semester. In pesos thats around Php 200k +. But ofc iba iba tuition ng mga universities, courses, and type of study (undergraduate, masters, etc) and if you apply for scholarship. I'm not quite sure because this is only based on applying for an undergraduate degree. But I believe UCAS is also used for masters/further educ 😁. What do you mean by your degree is not equivalent to bachelor?

Are you currently working there while studying? Aside from your sponsors who paid the partial payment of your tuition fee, could you give us an idea about your daily expenses, if you have work there, etc.? 🙏🏻

Hello! according to the UK British Council, "International students who have successfully completed an undergraduate or master's degree can apply to stay in the UK for up to two years after their studies. PhD graduates can apply to stay for up to three years." Hope this helps!

For education, depending on what you want to input you could either select:
- Philippine High school diploma
Or
- other non EU

For tuition po ba? For tuition po I paid an estimate of 3-4k GBP per sem :)
How about po ung education page?how do you convert grades po
You either select Philippine high school diploma or other non EU po. Then you encode your grades per subject and the date you received that grade. So for example: When i encoded philippine high school diploma for education, qualification date would be when you graduated; result would be if you graduated with honors etc; module/unit is the name of the subject (geometry, earth science, etc, how its labeled in yor highschool report card); qualification date is when you finished the subject; and result would be the grade you received itself. Then just add more modules/units to encode the other highschool subjects you took. Same system applies for encoding short classes/courses you took after highschool but you would select "other non eu". Hope this answers your question! 😊

@@herthapabalate4377 If you're a graudate from a university I believe there is an undergraduate qualification you can find. Although if none, you can still input it under the non EU. You have to input all the subjects you took under your course and the grades you received under the module/unit. You can message me on instagram @keith_avs!
