Yes there are generational curses, but we don’t need to fear that, the blood of Jesus brakes the yoke of generational sin. Derek Prince was an exceptional deliverance minister and I recommend his teaching.
Hank is spot on here, a very bad paradigm. If we take a book like pigs in the parlour it's full of assumptions & presuppositions that impose views on scripture rather than draw them them from scripture. However, try telling that to someone who's drunk in all these ideas - they don't seem to be able to differentiate what scripture actually says vs what is being imposed on it in similar form to 2+2=5. Such books are full of 'revelations' with not a scripture in sight to back it up. If this 'ministry' is so important to the day to day cleansing of Christians why isn't it explicitly expounded somewhere in scripture? Why isn't it mentioned in any of the writings of the early church fathers? The obvious amswer is because such a ministry was never taught by Christ or the Apostles.
Look who's back in the studio, praise the Lord! I haven't been a frequent listener since your broadcast was taken off of my regional Bott Radio Network. I will invest in all the other high tech was of listen to you soon, God will. I've been a monthly support since 2007. You and the ministry have always been in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks to you Hank, I'm a much stronger and knowledge Christian.
The fact that people interpret and use deliverance from demonic forces incorrectly does not mean that it’s not a real and valid part of the human condition. It’s extremely biblical and part of the mandate Jesus gave. To disregard it because people don’t fully understand it or abuse it in a way that’s harmful to others gives permission to disregard other teachings as well. Ie giving is greatly abused and misunderstood- does that mean we should disregard it? Or communion? Or fasting? All of these things are used wrongly with wrong motives by some- this is not a new thing. But we must be vigilant to discern bone from marrow.
The Bible does in fact teach that the consequences of our sins are passed on to our children. But the Bible doesn’t call that a curse. Children naturally tend to live out the examples we set before them. We either set a good, godly example or a bad one. The fathers are punished for their own sins as are the children. I do believe that unbelievers can be possessed (controlled not owned) and believer’s can be demonized for various reasons, but I may be wrong, but my Bible does not use the phrase “generational curse or curses” anywhere. That is taking a child’s normal response to a parents sins and reading something into scripture that is not there, making it more “spooky” and complex than it really is.
There are generational cycles but no curses for christians. Furthermore, Satan never cursed anyone in scripture to my knowledge. Only God curses and it takes alot of arrogance to think you can "break" a curse from God or demand that He lift it. He is SOVEREIGN!
hank, God bless you and thankyou for the teachings. i have a a question, you can understand that the deliverence happens everyday and everywhere and is also taught by great christians like zac poonen, michael brown, derek prince...can they be right, or they they "sadly" wrong
I think there is only truth in what you speak about deliverance concerning the false prophets but let it be known there are true soldiers of Christ whom do deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ as his Holy Spirit has giving us authority to do so. I can agree there is deliverance preaching that might blame any sin on a spirit which is in fact false and that is not what deliverance is about. But go check out John Ramirez testimony and tell me that deliverance ministries are not of God, if Christ is your savior then you simply can't. God bless you all 😊
Deliverance from curses and demons are real, folk! You never been in that sitiation is not a reason to think it's not real or necessarily. I see folk who were being tormented by demons and after deliverance - self deliverance in the Name of Jesus Christ - the individuals were free. It's a pity to heard a christian dismisses such topic when the bible is full of dealings with demons by Christ and his Apostles. There millions of children being dedicated to idols by parents, and these children as they growing up, would certainly be disturbed by those demons of those idols except they went thru deliverance and rededicate themselves to Christ, the saviour.

There are people who have been delivered from generational curses.
Yes. Repentance unto salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ delivers a person from all generational curses.

Jesus spent most of his time casting out demons.

Just like parents can bless, parents can also curse. So pse its not only God that can curse.

If casting out demons is removed they would nullify the work of Jesus and what was commanded in the New Testament.
