Bible teacher Derek Prince leads us in a prayer which consists of the following steps:
1. Establish a biblical basis of your release,
2. Confess your faith in Christ,
3. Commit yourself to obedience (do what God says),
4. Confess any known sins (either by yourself or your ancestors),
5. Forgive all other persons,
6. Renounce all contact with the occult (by yourself or your ancestors),
7. Commit yourself to get rid of all contact objects,
8. Release yourself from the curse,
9. Expect and release the blessing of Abraham.

Some say, as long as you have life and breathe, that you do.
Myself and some others have seen people who live long lives on earth after their last encounter, and subsequent rejection of Him. He knows they really really mean it, and won't change their minds, n o matter what, and He then leaves them to their own devices. At that point, He won't do anything more that they would consider that He is just harrassing them.

I stood up in my bedroom at my computer desk and said this prayer aloud at 7:30 am with my mothers athiest husband getting ready for work outside my door . There is no room for pride when you seek salvation and you MUST walk in repentance , i am grateful i found the LORD once again when i did , he will need us in his end time line but i am forever sorry for my sins.

Why would I get a very anxious feeling, on the left hand side of my chest, while doing this prayer? I also cried a lot. Just all of a sudden, burst into tears. The tears happen often when I pray or talk about Jesus.
Thank you, God, that generational curses are broken through faith in the blood of Jesus. I put my faith in the blood. I believe Jesus is my mercy seat and that His blood cancels the curse and breaks generational iniquities. I believe, by the blood of Jesus, that the generational curse from the law is cancelled and broken off my family now, in Jesus’ name. Thank you that sins, bondages and iniquities are cancelled and the curse is stopped by the blood of Jesus. God I thank you that you brought me to this video at the exact time. Im having in a period of prayer and fasting for 7 days today is my day two I'm praying about many things and I have just found out that what I'm praying about are actually due to curses in my family and individual life. Imagine I just got into this video today morning after my morning prayers. I was listening to another preacher and then suddenly without my notice my finger tapped on this video. And I know that this was God doing it and directing me to my release from these curses. Today I prayed with daddy and I have gotten released already. Thank you Jesus for using your servant to deliver me and my family. Those who die in Christ are never dead. They continue doing the work of God that's why daddy is still being used to release us even after his departure. He just changed from mortal to spirit. Friends my family and I are released today from curses of poverty, witchcraft, stagnation, rejection, delay and backwardness etc. Thank you Jesus.

I am a bit confused, why did God give power to a prophet who came to deliver a message to humanity, to answer prayers on his behalf, why cant we just pray to God him/herself? This has been perplexing me thank you, as sometimes I pray to God directly.
You should always pray to God directly but God likes to let His children join in on His works. Life is training for eternity. He can use you the same way. He loves you, always. No matter what!! Be blessed!!
Jesus himself instructs us to pray to God directly. Read Matthew chapter 6 in the Bible.
God loves you and wants a relationship with you so much He sent Jesus to die to cover your sin. Confess Jesus is Lord and receive Him as Savior.
We are instructed to pray to God The Father in The Name Of Our Savior, not to Jesus Himself-- according to The Bible. It may sound trivial (but I believe not) but why not do it as The Bible tells us to?

I literally just finished saying the prayer along with this video & had that exact Air-Flow shivering experience while doing it. I've been saved for a long time & have had different experiences/ Sensations during Prayer & Praise. But, this is the first time I've had that particular experience. One time I clearly remember experiencing, what I could only describe as the Holy Spirit like a wind blowing through my veins, and I was delivered and healed from a massive stroke from that wind or breath of God by his spirit. So I am convinced that it is the Holy Spirit breath of God for healing!

@@cockneychristian628 I've known a lot of people with signs of curses on their lives, homes, families, who refused to believe it was something from a curse that could be broken and didn't want to hear about it. One family, after the mother lost a finger, then later broke her arm, the other 5 members of the family broke an arm within 1 yr. They didn't want to hear anything about breaking a curse.
Others, I've seen generational divorces, and other problems in other families. They were angry and horrified at the idea that a simple prayer and standing on Bible Verses could stop and even reverse it.
Between them and God if they "really knew" or not. And I've seen enough denial to know they do - usually know quite well, in spite of denials.
But if they don't want a solution, there is nothing you can do.
That is why Jesus asked people what they wanted, and even if they wanted to be healed, before He did anything. And if they say no, leave them alone.
Pain and struggle are temporary. Loneliness and sadness are temporary. CANCER is temporary! Death is temporary. The Lord Jesus (God's begotten Son) made it very easy on us and just believe in him and have life more abundantly. Love others and store you treasure in Heaven for love is all we take with us and it lasts forever. Here we set our eternity and we only get a vapor to do it. In Heaven I'm rich beyond belief and I have faith that you'll join me.

I watched Miriam’s testimony video over a month ago. I relate to her almost 100%. I had a homosexual demon enter me at a very young age (5) yrs old. I struggle with addiction because I don’t want to be a lesbian I’ve always struggled with it. I was raised in church so I know the difference between right and wrong I’ve lived my entire life as a lesbian I dress like a guy I’ve had short hair since my Parents allowed me to style it myself. Anyway I watched her testimony video a few times and would cry and cry because I want that I want to be free of this all of it. I believe I have more then 1,2 or even 3 demons that effect me I’ve been afraid to try to get them all out by myself because I know some of them can be more dangerous then others when told to leave but I’ve asked God to tell/show me if I can do it on my own. I know he can I just doubted myself and it wasn’t until I heard Brother Derek say this helped Miriam that I knew God was saying to me Lori I can. You don’t have to worry or suffer anymore if you don’t want to you just need to trust me I will be holding you the entire time so you won’t be alone. I’m about to try this prayer and I have a feeling that it’s going to be amazing. I have done some prayers of deliverance by myself but knew It would take multiple times for me to truly be free. I was wrong. I now believe that God can do it I felt like I was to big a problem that the curses and demons on my life were too much and all the sins that I’ve done we’re so big that he wouldn’t forgive me but now I know he’s saying but I do forgive me Lori you need to forgive yourself your mother your father your sister and you will be set free. I lost my eldest sister to drugs and my other sister was delivered from being a Lesbian, now a true committed Christian, my mother dabbled in the occult. If this is a real thing..then take note on what gospel you hear. Paul said in Gal.1:8-9 it's the perverted gospel that never tells you who you are and leaves you trying to work out your life. When in the Gospel of full grace, Paul preached, puts life together as a person - Christ in you the hope of glory! Gal.2:20 and that life is your only life. No other life to be had-believers have no life of their own.
I prayed this yesterday and today I feel so much lighter and I believe the curse is lifted!

Prince claimed over and over again that as deliverance from evil spirits was such a significant part of Jesus’ ministry - one third according to him - it should also be a significant part of every Christian’s ministry. Whilst it’s true deliverance from evil spirits was a significant part of Jesus’ ministry, Prince (and his demon-busting ilk) misses the crucial point that it was always deliverance of the unregenerate. Nowhere in the New Testament is there even one example of Jesus casting out a demon from someone after they had believed on Him as their Lord and Saviour.
The very foundation of Prince’s theology on spiritual warfare was dangerously flawed, because he used how Jesus dealt with the spiritual problems of unregenerate people as a blueprint for how Christians should deal with fellow-believers in Jesus Christ. This fundamental error is at the root of a multitude of so-called “deliverance” ministries provided by Christians for Christians.
This is the fundamental problem with Prince’s fallacious claims over generational curses; complete fantasy that has been the cause of much unnecessary burden and condemnation for millions of Christians.
A good example of this is his butchering of the blessings and curses of Deuteronomy 28, which are specifically and categorically given by God to national Israel in the Old Testament. All his teaching on generational curses is built on Old Testament passages that have nothing to do with born-again New Testament believers.
Prince’s claims over the power of word curses are built upon the false teaching that wrongly assumes that, because we are made in the image of God, we have the same ability/authority as God to ‘decree’ and ‘declare’ something into existence with our positive confession. We do not.
This false practice originates NOT in the pages of the Word of God but the New Thought Movement of Phineas Quimby, who, rather than being a follower of the risen Jesus Christ, was a disciple of the hypnotist, Franz Mesmer.
Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of the Christian Science cult, was a patient of Quimby’s and gleaned much of her demonic theology from him.
Quimby is the originator of the ‘law of attraction’, which teaches thought (and speech - positive confession) can bring things into existence. It is this false teaching that was embraced and given a ‘Christian veneer’ by E. W. Kenyon, who was also heavily influenced by the teaching of Mary Baker Eddy.
Kenneth Hagin in turn built his theology (almost word-for-word) on the false teaching of E. W Kenyon, and is from whom we get the Word of Faith / Positive Confession Movement. This is the cess pit from which Derek Prince got his theology.

Jesus Christ became a curse for us. We have been released from any curse in the Cross. God said “ do not let this saying be heard again in Israel. The fathers have eaten sour grapes and the children’s teeth are set on edge, for the soul that sins will die. “. You cannot deliver yourself from anything nor forgive yourself. Only God can do that. We are under Christ now and not Abraham.
