i always love watching henya playing monster hunter. i feel like in this game she's having the most fun. this reminds me of ironmouse's advice to people who wanna start streaming. the most important thing is you having fun. your viewer can feel it and match your energy and having as much fun watching you. in turn, if you're not having fun, we also would feel as bored as you. but what's more important, after watching this, i can tell that both of them are very energetic.

As a 15 year veteran of the franchise, I can say that EVERYONE yells at their cat. It's just a thing that happens. I have never not yelled at my cat for doing stupid things.
Now I know the live action movie of Monster Hunter became an action movie, but I didn't know Henya was making a sequel staring the Die Hard legend Bruce Willis.
I played the beta yesterday on a neighbors Xbox Series X and I gotta say…I *REALLY* gotta get used to the new gameplay, cuz I’m so used to World’s. I’m just glad I didn’t faint till I ran into my 3rd monster, Rey Dao. 😅🤣
It's a game about progression and mastery. Progression through gathering monster parts to make gear that gives advantages to specific monster types. And mastering the various monsters attack patterns and finding openings for your weapon's attacks. Even mastering one or more types of weapons, Each with advantages and disadvantages. It's a slow progress of learning and mastering. Also multiplayer. (Not to mention other gadgets and environmental tricks you can use to your advantage)
Basically Soulslike but you hunt dinosaurs and make weapons and armor from them. You fight janky controls to Ernest Hemingway thriugh the game + grinding. Concept is simple and to the point. Have you tried playing with friends? Have you played farther than handholding story missions? If yes, maybe it is simply not your kind of game. And that is okay.
