- Putting my 2000 H3-45 Prevost American Coach Class A Bus Coach RV up for sale. This is an abbreviated video, a 2 hour long video walking through everything on the coach will come out soon.
This will be almost 3 years in the Prevost and getting close to 6 years in total traveling in RV's. Our family is getting older - and feel its time to pass this great coach off to another family to enjoy.
If you are interested, please send me an email at aaron@campprevost.com
I also have a website - www.campprevost.com with more information.
While doing the 2 hour long video, I turned on the aqua hot and it didn't ignite. So I am in the process of getting it running and will post a video soon showing that process. I have both the coil and control box out for testing and replacement if needed. We use the electric side of the aqua hot and I forgot it was working intermittently!
I will also be posting a video on the AC Soft Starts - it & the aquahot will be posted on my other RUclips channel - hunleygarage.
I have an interest in getting an X and fixing it up and also helping others with their Prevost - so stay tuned for more videos. Let me know if you would like help with yours!
As always, thanks for watching.

You just can’t break the number one cardinal rule of RV ownership. That is you never give up the RV life; you can only replace an RV with another one, but never be without.
Who said I won’t get another 🤔
It just don't make sense to sell a perfectly good looking beautiful coach like this one to buy another one. I can't understand it
It is important to tell people that it is pre DEF and that engine gets around one million miles before an in frame rebild is required. Nice unit.
Thanks your correct. It’s funny, some ask if it’s diesel - in my head I’m like don’t even bother! Lol
So much time and effort, I will miss your family vacations in your Prevost.
I’m not leaving! Just taking a pause. Not sold yet!
Your bus is very well sorted out and has been well taken care of. I definitely have enjoyed following your videos and whoever ends up with it, will have an excellent machine
Thank you. Hoping this isn’t my last, just need a break and pass this one on for others to enjoy. Would fun to find an X that needs work.
Sorry to hear you’re retiring from RV life. You’ve done an amazing job with your coach. Enjoyed all the videos. Thank you.
Thanks! Not sure we are done - just need to take a break. We only lasted 4 months last time! Lol.
Sad to see you moving into other adventures. Enjoyed your travels with your H3-45. Very nice motorcoach.
Thanks! Our last pause lasted 4 months!
I’ve watched your channel from almost the beginning and really enjoy it. Im going to miss the videos. I’m a little surprised that you’re selling it since I can tell you have a real passion for it. You’ve done such an excellent job with the upgrades and it’s just gorgeous. Someone will get a fantastic coach. Good luck!
Thank you. Not sure I’m done, just taking a break. Most everything is done now, ready to pass her on. Think an X that needs some work with maybe a slide is in order….
@@CampPrevost That would make for an excellent series of new videos!
I love your Coach!!!
Thanks!
You have a very nice coach. You have one of the best interiors of any older Prevost I’ve seen. Wish I was able to afford it. I would buy it in a minute. Because you have documented everything you have done to the bus in your videos
Nice coach, someone will be fortunate to own.
Thanks!
Prevost, huge money pits! A basic RV with a steel structure is the way to go. Those mega buses are nice, but they're too rich for my blood! Haha! I've always wanted this one you had. I follow it all over the internet. Lusting for it lol
They are something else for sure. Good to have a want, puts meaning into life. I will say you really have to want one, there is no monetary justification for one.
@@CampPrevost right. It's like a ¥hore.
LoL 😂
She's gonna drain you, and you're gonna like it lol
Good stuff, and sorry to see you go so soon.....we love our Marathon H and will likely never part with it.
It went to a great new owner. Will see, would like to try an X
Nooo!! You can’t just leave us now. What prompted this rash decision?
It’s all fixed! Need to take a break for a bit and then maybe another
the problem i see with these is price. as old as these are the price is still way high for an RV especially without the slides-outs
I’d agree somewhat until you really see the bones. If you figure an older one is priced at 10% of new, it’s probably about right - just 10% of a big number is still a big number. Look at any other 2000 coach and then really look at a prevost and you’ll see why.
After all that hard work, how could you sell it now?
It’s all done - time for another!
@@CampPrevost ok that makes sense! Your quite talented in the areas that you need to keep a unit like that running! Good luck selling this and on your next venture. I look forward to your next opportunity!
Just tell the wife you sold it. You can hide it at my place 😂😂
Ha! That would be funny!
Must be the wife nagging you about getting rid of this fine coach
Please let me know once you load up the newest video
Will do - maybe Sunday, will see. Takes forever loading that size of file from final cut, to RUclips, then they scan it - plus stitching and editing time.
What is your asking price for the coach?
Shoot me and email
Why can’t you just say? I’m only 2 minutes in n looks very nice!
I agree why play games tell us what you want
Brand new disc brakes?
Yes - pads anyway
Who did the original conversion ?
American Coach did the conversion
I have an a phone on my 2000 Monaco dynasty. Both the outside unit and the one in the bedroom have 24 V but I cannot get it to work. Do you have any literature or a form to point me to
I don’t - know that you say it, I don’t remember seeing anything in my mess of literature. Have you tried the prevost Facebook page? Lot of smart people on there.
@@CampPrevost thank you for the reply and I will see what I can find out. I just don’t do Facebook.
I thought I heard tears dripping on the microphone
Might have been a couple :)
Super C next ?
We did that last time - they offer different floor plans which are nice - who knows!
@@CampPrevost build out a van ! You've got the skills
Why are you selling your Prevost Coach?
Money pit interpreted to me means it cost loads of $$$$$ to keep one of these babies coaches running good. Yes? No? Maybeso?
Just time to move on. This was year 5 or 6, have hit 36 states and logged close to 100k miles over 3 coaches. Probably be looking again in a few years, girls are super busy and don’t have time to get out currently
how many miles
238k care free miles.
How much $$ do you want?
Shoot me an email to aaron@campprevost.com. Happy to answer any questions.
price?
Sold it last year. I need to put out a new video…
@@CampPrevost wait, after you spent all that time putting the CIGS up there? how were they working ? I'm about to do the same thing - any recommendations on wiring size ? i have a 100/50 victron . thanks!
@@DeFiDuke Hello - after installing them I think they did well. They stayed adhered which was my main goal and provided good power, my second goal. As for wire sizing, hard to say, I would need to understand how many panels you have, their specific output, etc. The higher you can keep the voltage the better, so the amp rating of the wiring can be reduced. This does, however, mean they are in series which kills all the panels in series when shaded. So plusses and minus. I liked having the MC4 connectors up top before entering the coach roof - this allowed me to disconnect anything should it need to be changed, disconnected, etc. I would also recommend a DC circuit breaker from the panels but before the solar charger. I would then have the solar charger DC power hit a fuse block before landing on your battery. This way you are able to unhook the solar charger from both sides, keep your solar panel power locked if needed, separate your battery from the solar charger if necessary - along with providing a path to sever the connection if things go wrong....
sent you an email
Thanks!
