- We are back with another cage build video, this time with a 2021 krx 1000. this was a fun build and we really enjoyed it. we used .120 wall dom on the main cage and .095 on the front and rear bumper sections.

seeing that RC outside reminding me of my base RC lol. she is getting a new long block motor swapped in due to a water pump drive gear failure. 50 dollar plastic gears cost me a 6700 dollar shop bill. so x3 owners if possible id replace your thermostat and water pump drive gears regularly. a couple hundred dollar shop bill beats nearly 7k.i seen that it was overheating when it went into limp mode but it was too late and the damage was done. just keep it in mind, the x3 motors are tough but heat will kill them.

Awesome build turned out nice…. Heck yes with the xrc build. We went to Rugged Mountain Ranch last weekend in Daisy Oklahoma that would have been right up your alley of technical adventures. I thought about y’all and how you would have challenged every trail. Some of the roughest I’ve been in

Bout time you stepped over to the dark side and worked on a fun mobile 😂😂😂. Pretty sure I wouldn't want Scott and his bad juju inside ours until he gets rid of that evil helmet 😂😂😂😂. And yes, you discovered why I'm always telling KRX people to use harnesses. Even snuggly harnessed in you can lean outside the plane between the A and B pillar. Those stock seatbelts should be outlawed. Off my soap box, time to find Scott's unicorn and rainbow helmet.

With spring coming hoping to see you guys start hitting places out in the NE area like your local PA outlaw trails. Or maybe NY outlaw trails (if they have any good trails) obviously NY state not the city. Can you tell I like outlaw trails lol. Also did you guys get Scotts machine fixed since 77?

Really depends on how elaborate you want to get, just a cage or exo style front and rear bumper cage. Anywhere from 1500 to 3500.00
How much for one? I need one for my Krx . Lol I like the cage looks good.
For one like in this video you’d be looking by at around 2500 or so depending on front and rear bumpers.

Thank you. yes, it took about 6-7 inches off the height

I take them to a local shop and use their machine to radius the tubes.
