Never intentionally layered fragrances...see it as a waste of juice. Just buy something already blended to the scent and strength that you like. But maybe I could be swayed if I tried it. Magnetic blend 1 sounds the most interesting to me. I'm in Illinois.
I think the combination of oud for greatness with magnetic blend 7 would be an excellent combination. Also oud for greatness with bacarat Rouge 540 should be divine. Love your channel thanks stay safe

I really like the atomic rose I purchased from Neiman Marcus reasonlly but they had to order it from a different location because the Neiman Marcus in Lenox mall didn’t care this in the store and the price when up but very nice 👍
Initio Atomic Rose smells exactly like Delina. Atomic Rose though smells the way Layered is described : it dries down with more pepper/ could be vetiver - and Delina has more sharpness but they’re so close! I really like the vetiver I’m smelling with Atomic Rose :-)). I already purchased Delina but next will be Rose Atomic. Omg how do we get so obsessed with perfume???:))

I've been experimenting with layering lately with Zara's 4MBR0X1D3. I'm curious what some frags smell like with added ambroxin. Real curious to smell that Atomic Rose and whatever Hedione is. I'm social distancing here in Texas.
I've just recently jumped on the niche/ designer fragrance train (aka: the "well there goes my wallet" train) and the idea of layering sounds really fascinating. I've tried a few of Alexandria's mixes and they've all been really great. These all sound great too and I've yet to really experiment with Ouds so this giveaway sounds fantastic. Those black bottles look great! With respect to layering, other than soap + after shave + then a fragrance, I don't think it's easy at all to layer fragrances and come up improving anything, or ending up better smelling than with single fragrances. It might work for some fragrances and some people of course, but a golden combo I think would be quite an exception rather than a rule or easy result.
I tried layering fragrances a few times but don't like the idea because I feel the soul of quality fragrances somehow gets lost when mixed (tried Hacivat + Hundred Silent Ways and Creed Himalaya + Molecule 01). I would, however, make an exception and try layering using fragrances that were specifically created for this purpose (as a base, booster, etc). For a touch of naughtiness, I would try Magnetic Blend #1 + Atomic Rose. VA, USA.

The one fragrance that sounds the best to me of the 3 is number 7, the one that focuses on musk. Love the video, number seven sounds the best to me. for layering, lately I’ve been layering delina with flora Botanica by Balenciaga, and I also like layering angel muse with by the fireplace. I haven’t had a chance to sample any initio fragrances yet, but I’ve heard oud for greatness layers great with baccarat rouge 540, so would love to try that. I am in San Francisco, California.

I have these 3 magnetic blend perfumes and Blessed Baraka which is the best one in my collection. I love Oud for Greatness and plan to buy it in addition to Rehab and Side Effect.

Thanks for your take on these Sebastian . My favorite note is Rose. I own Atomic Rose, and after numerous wearings I think it's nice, but it's not in the top of my collection of Rose fragrances. At times in the dry down, it reminds me of Intense Cafe. It's longevity and projection are great, but I sense a lot of Hedione. The Rose is there seemingly being pushed by the Hedione. For the price, I would stick with Armani Prive' Rose D'arabie (my fave), Amouage Lyric Man, Al Haramain Floral Sculpture and even Bond #9 West Side.

Never tried this house. I probably wouldn't use the magnetic blends with other fragrances but would have to smell them first. Musk or Musk Frankincense sounds best to me. But the other three sound amazing. I love rose. I love oud. I like them separately or together. I'm in USA.

As of late I've been a big layer. I've been blind buying inexpensive scents from discounters and layering them with oud or rose attars. The layering of Mugler fragrances have been successful, bc many share the same base. I have not tried any Initio scents. I own Rehab, Side Effect, and Psychedelic Love, but I've never smelled anything from the Magnetic line! Number 8 sounds like it would be my favorite because I love incense. Honestly, I really haven't layered anything before, but I'd be willing to try it! Michigan
I enjoy layering fragrances but don't have many to do so with. However, it's fun and leases new life on a fragrance when you're a little burnt out on it. My favorite that I do is Escentric Molecules 1 and 4. Magnetic Blend 7 sounds the best since it's more of a skin scent. From Minnesota.
Thanks for this video. I have magnetic blend 7. I've blended it with many fragrances, but never another Initio. I'll have to try it with Oud for greatness or rehab. Number 7 to me is a bit loud and it lasts very long on my skin. I got some on my fingers one day and I could still smell the next after after washing my hands a few times.
I have a small decant of Rehab. I haven't layered it with anything but I do like the idea of making it a little more unique by layering. Oud for Greatness is definitely on my radar of scents to try. Cheers from California!
I just got samples of this brand - of Rehab and High Frequency (LOVE them both). I have never been one to layer fragrances but would be keen to try with the magnetic #8. I am in TX.
The problem is that now every fragrance that contains a rose note is compared to br540, just the same that every fragrance with a pineapple note is compared to aventus. I'm pretty sure that atomic rose has a unique smell! I have never layered a scent before but I'm willing to try it. The magnetic blend of ambergris is the one I find most interesting. Sebastian, I love learning about Initio Parfums Prive Magnetic Blends...This is a brilliant idea!!! I love the idea of this to either add more depth, a twist to the original composition, or boost performance. I personally haven't tried anything from the Magnetic Blend collection. I personally would like #1 with Ambergris. I feel like this would honestly blend well with almost any fragrance as well as really increase projection and longevity. I would love to try these. I once layered Dolce & Gabbana- the One + Dior- Hypnotic Poison (Cardamom and Anise combo) and it was great. Also, Montale Bakhoor + Martin Margiela- By the Fireplace (incense, woods, smoke, burnt marshmallow and chestnuts).
I love layering and these sound great. #1 & 7 sound more up my alley. Fave layer is Dior Eau Sauvage Parfum 2012 x MFK Oud. IL and thanks for a great review as always!

@@UnknownChap I tried all of them except atomic rose which haven't arrived here yet. Blesses baraka is great but I sold it since it was a bit redundant with grand soir. Now only own oud for greatness and addictive vibration. The animalic blend is great, might get it next

Love Side Effect and Psychedelic Love and love Atomic Rose more on my girl. I havent tried layering much but did layer Aventus and BR540 which is great. In the last 4 years since I've been viewing Fragrance vids, I've done a lot of blends - some suggested, some my own (just blended Club de Nuit Intense Man with Sean John's Unforgivable yesterday - very good drydown). I live in Waldorf, MD, USA.
Love the video on layering I just discoverd doing this I love Oud For Greatness I layer that with Happyland Paisley Sky.i live in Chicago Heights Illinois.was going to visit my son in Arizona but I can only send him a birthday gift because of the Corona Virus.

Personally I don't layer. However it seems like worth trying just to mix things up. I found the magnetic blend number eight to be most appealing due to the incense. Greetings from El Paso, Texas.
Great video! I have only gotten my nose on oud for greatness which is stunning but I'd love to try out more from this house. I love the idea of layering as you can make your own unique scent and not smell like anyone else!

I love layering my scents, I layer BR540 with a lot of my designer fragrances because I love making my scents unique. I have tried Psychedelic Love and Oud for Greatness and they are amazing. Thanks from California! = )
What would you layer musk therapy with?
More musk or more fruits. So #7 from Magnetic Blends collection or find a minimalistic blackberry scent and layer them together! :)

I own Rehab, Side Effect, and Psychedelic Love, but I've never smelled anything from the Magnetic line! Number 8 sounds like it would be my favorite because I love incense. Honestly, I really haven't layered anything before, but I'd be willing to try it! Michigan
I like the idea of layering as a way of further personalizing the fragrance to your style. Magnetic blend 7 is the most interesting to me. I am in NY.
I enjoy layering fragrances but don't have many to do so with. However, it's fun and leases new life on a fragrance when you're a little burnt out on it. My favorite that I do is Escentric Molecules 1 and 4. Magnetic Blend 7 sounds the best since it's more of a skin scent. From Minnesota.
Thanks for this video. I have magnetic blend 7. I've blended it with many fragrances, but never another Initio. I'll have to try it with Oud for greatness or rehab. Number 7 to me is a bit loud and it lasts very long on my skin. I got some on my fingers one day and I could still smell the next after after washing my hands a few times.
Could you share what fragrances you have layered it with please? I just got a sample and don't know what to layer it with 😅
I have a small decant of Rehab. I haven't layered it with anything but I do like the idea of making it a little more unique by layering. Oud for Greatness is definitely on my radar of scents to try. Cheers from California!
I just got samples of this brand - of Rehab and High Frequency (LOVE them both). I have never been one to layer fragrances but would be keen to try with the magnetic #8. I am in TX.
The problem is that now every fragrance that contains a rose note is compared to br540, just the same that every fragrance with a pineapple note is compared to aventus. I'm pretty sure that atomic rose has a unique smell!
I have never layered a scent before but I'm willing to try it. The magnetic blend of ambergris is the one I find most interesting.

Personally, I love the idea of layering but have yet to hear a concise justification and purpose until now. I've tried a few from Initio but none from the Magnetic Blend collection. The smokiness from #1 layered with Rehab sounds really enjoyable. I'd like to enter the discovery kit. I live in CA, USA.

Tobacco is part of the note listing for Rehab, along with bourbon. Fragrantica doesnt have the full note list.

So, I have tried Oud for Greatness, Rehab, Blessed Barraka, and Side Effect. I loved them all. Side Effect has grown to be my favorite. As far as layering, I love creed aventus and virgin island water. Bay area, California!!! Cant go in any fragrance store without people asking if I watch Sebastian around here! Lol...
Sebastian, I love learning about Initio Parfums Prive Magnetic Blends...This is a brilliant idea!!! I love the idea of this to either add more depth, a twist to the original composition, or boost performance. I personally haven't tried anything from the Magnetic Blend collection. I personally would like #1 with Ambergris. I feel like this would honestly blend well with almost any fragrance as well as really increase projection and longevity. I would love to try these. Layering is nice. I layer molecule 01 with side effect sometime and compliments all the time. Magnetic 7,8 sound good. I like musk and incense. NY

I once layered Dolce & Gabbana- the One + Dior- Hypnotic Poison (Cardamom and Anise combo) and it was great. Also, Montale Bakhoor + Martin Margiela- By the Fireplace (incense, woods, smoke, burnt marshmallow and chestnuts).

I’ve never tried layering. #8 sounds the best to me. My favorite Initio is Absolute Aphrodisiac. Kentucky
A couple of these smell just like hermetica blends. Such as atomic rose and rose fire!

I apologize if I missed it, but do you spray the main fragrance first, or the magnetic blends first?
You have to decide/figure out which one is the most subtle you spray it on top of the more dense stronger scent. That's what I do. :)
Don't forget to adjust your sprays too! more sprays of the weaker scent! :)

@@UnknownChap I tried all of them except atomic rose which haven't arrived here yet. Blesses baraka is great but I sold it since it was a bit redundant with grand soir. Now only own oud for greatness and addictive vibration. The animalic blend is great, might get it next

Enjoyed this and def learned as usual from u. I havent tried any of the Magnetic Blends but #7 sounds the best to me. From the house I've tried Side Effect, Psychedelic Love, OFG, and Atomic Rose. Love Side Effect and Psychedelic Love and love Atomic Rose more on my girl. I havent tried layering much but did layer Aventus and BR540 which is great. I think I'll try layering Elysium with 540 soon too. There's still quite a few I'd love to try from Initio especially Rehab, Blessed Baraka, and Addictive Vibration. Thanks for the generous giveaway. The #7 sounds the best to me...I bought C4SHMER4N by Zara to layer...but it's a bit loud by itself...but still want to try it...I live in Illinois, US.
