A lot of people like to say Songs for the Deaf is the best QotSA album, but ...Like Clockwork to me is their masterpiece. Josh Homme outdid himself with this one. IMHO, their greatest track of the album is a Fairweather Friends. It features Sir Elton on piano, and he just rocks some keys out for them. The Queens playing with a self described Queen of Rock.
SFTD is great, but a completely different iteration of the band. Clockwork is vg as well, but it's more a Homme thing than a band thing. I think to find the true value of the band, people need guidance to help sort everything out. I'd say more people gravitate toward SFTD because it stood out commercially, but really most things this band does are high quality with great songs and some distinctive twist, such as the Homme falsetto which at this point has become another instrument.
I watch a lot of reaction vids, but have very few subscriptions..I love your honesty, even when I don't agree. I also love that you know your stuff, which makes for a more informed reaction than a pure listener..one of the things I like most about Josh's voice besides the tone, is when he juxtaposes that falsetto with something hard and rockin'. Totally makes me want to take his voice home after a party..lol
This and Song for the dead are my favourite of theirs too. Good on whomever is supplying you this. EDIT: You may prefer song of the dead live with grohl.
Thanks for your reaction and content David! Just seen your amazing and well done reaction to Marcin Patrzałek - Master of Puppets. Never again seen him here in your channel. Could you react to his Aerials by System of a Down? Or Paganini Caprice no. 24 or any other? Thanks in advance 😁
No bad song on that album, so good
Facts
Feet Don’t Fail Me Now for sure!!!!
Another QOTSA victory 😁. Thanks to CaptainFrost2002 and Jason for requesting this one.
You really can't go wrong with ...Like Clockwork. One of the greatest albums of all time.
I like how, after he says, "I've got nothing to lose and only one way up," you can hear a sniff, like he's doing a line. 😂

Anyone who doesn't groove along with this song has no soul
Feet Don't Fail Me leans ALLLLLL the way into funk. Crazy groove on that one.
So good 💥
Experiencing this song live is unbelievable. I can still "feel" the kick drum.
One of the most unsettling music videos ever. But it's so great - no other song could pull off this video.
