This is Raiden's them based off his lore that he sees himself as unsalvageable from the horrors he's been through. He can't live a normal life anymore, he's been born to be a killing machine, his soul can't be *cut* this is who he is.
Yeah, it’s very unfortunate that this song isn’t given any cool cutscene or QTE moments like “Dark Skies” and “Return to Ashes.” Those songs had TWO of those moments, so there was no reason for this one not to have some either.
