- This one happened in the middle of the night whilst I was asleep
I suffer with temporal lobe epilepsy and I’m just putting them up as some support and awareness 💜💜

My 28 y/o fiance has been diagnosed with right temporal lobe epilepsy this year, having been living with consistent seizures for 12+ months and his tonic clonics look extremely simular. No seizures easy to do through, Hoping you had a smooth recovery from this one 🙏
My brother was diagnosed with Epilepsy fairly recently, and I have just witnessed him have a seizure very similiar to this one. Im now trying to educate myself as much as possible on the symptoms. I cant imagine how much pain and torment it must be for you mate, stay strong and all the best 🙏

Nocturnal tonic clonic seizures are worst of all..
They happen when the one who suffers is most vulnerable.. asleep.. and often alone..
They come on as a thief in the night.. unobserved.. sinister.. deadly.. and usually with no warning or aura…
So important that you show this one Alfie., so vital to see this can happen unawares while sleeping..
We are thankful you have a system in place where your Mum is notified and comes quickly to your aid..
She immediately placed you on your side and cleared everything out of the way..
She stayed with you.. monitoring your breathing.. keeping your airway clear..
Biggest dangers with these seizures.. for anyone who may not know.. is stoppage of breathing and/or the heart..
Also falling on the face and.. unable to move.. suffocation..
Your Mum is your guardian angel.. watching over you and keeping you safe, Alfie 💙🌹
