Wow! Alaska is so beautiful! I wanted commend you guys on your drone footage! If only I was half as good as you with my own drone! :) You really know how to get the shots not only with the drone but with your regular camera! Like you said, you probably feel a whole lot better when caravaning with someone. I can definately understand that. Especially if you are in the middle of nowhere and have a breakdown. So glad you guys finally got to see the bears! Looking forward to your next installment!
ShoHashi droning is a matter of getting lots of practice and getting comfortable flying. Once that is mastered, then you can get more specific with footage and images. It is really hard to shoot anything when you are still focusing on flying, or not crashing! 😂 Really glad we got to see bears finally! Thanks for watching, man! 👊
I’m retired Navy, my wife and I are really thinking about RVing here in the next year or two. Your videos have definitely motivated us to look into this sooner than later. Thanks for taking us on your adventures, absolutely amazing!!!
The colors you captured of the iceberg and textures of the glacier were outstanding! Catching the bear as it was leaving it's den was incredible timing and I'm sure it made your search worthwhile. Can't believe that the bears were just loving the caviar, who knew 🤷♂️ Can't wait for our chance to go up in 2021 or 2022
This video won’t do the colors or the location justice, (not with my cameras😂🤦♂️) I did my best and this comment makes me feel like I did, so thank you 🙏 the egg thing blew us away, don’t procrastinate, get up there 😎 have a great night!
Finding Our Someday the picture came were outstanding! If they are even richer in person and in the original picture files then I really can't wait to get my own cameras out there. We won't hit the road until Spring or possibly summer depending on how long it takes to sell our house and if we have Ethan finish the school year. We know not to try to tackle Alaska as one of our first trips which is why the earliest would be 2021 which is what I hope we can do. I have to be in Indianapolis every 3 months for medical appointments so we need to get a good feeling for our travel style although we already know we will stay in a single location for 2-3 weeks because I will only be able to go out every 2 to 3 days. Shelly will do stuff with Ethan that I wouldn't be able to do on my recovery days so we already have a rough plan.
InMyImage sounds like a great plan and it is a good idea to get into the rhythm of how you guys like to travel before taking on Alaska. But we can’t wait for you to experience it for yourselves! All the best to you guys as you continue to plan!
I love the chemistry between you two. How you constantly look at each other as you speak in turn. Awesome shots and great editing. Keep finding your someday!!!
That’s the way it goes... I feel the same way when I see videos of my home state of Maine! Glad to hear you enjoyed it, have a great night! You live in an amazing state, no apologies needed!
I am very behind on viewing my YT subscriptions, so I am catching up. I am amazed and blown away at the beauty of the glacier. The color of blue is beautiful, I can only imagine seeing it in person, wow! Fabulous drone footage and oh my the bears with the salmon, outstanding. Thank you so much for sharing your travels, it is a pleasure to watch.
The lumberjack show reminded me of Maine's own "Axe Women", who travel to various state fairs around the country (we saw them at the NC State Fair in 2017). They're a whole different level of lumberjacking! I can't say two things enough. First, Corey's photography skills set you apart from other RUclipsrs. It's spectacular. Second, the chemistry you both have with each other on camera is palpable. Everyone should look at their spouse the way you both look at each other. The story-telling is great, for sure, and the editing is both creative and technically strong, but at the end of the day, I think the sense that everyone who watches your videos feels is, "I could easily be best friends with that family." I don't know what your original motivation was for starting to vlog, but the end result is that you have 12,000 subscribers all wanting to live next door. We look forward to three things on Sunday: church, Patriots' football, and the next Finding Our Someday episode. Keep up the stellar work! --Leo
Leo Cloutier hey, Leo, this is Jess. I had to respond to this message because it touched me for many reasons. Beyond your wonderful compliments that made us feel so loved and encouraged, your last line had me almost in tears. I took a screen shot and sent it to my family members. My father was a huge Patriots fan. Football was a big part of our family life and some of our best memories before my dad passed away were epic Super Bowl parties when the Pat’s won. To think that something Corey and I and our girls have created could be put together with 2 other things that we did every Sunday was so special. Thank you. We are so grateful for you and the others who are joining us on our journey and supporting what we are doing. ❤️
Gregg Ouellette thank you for saying so. It is hard to figure out the best mix of scenery, talking and story. Hoping to keep getting better and better. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! 👍
I love that your chili has no beans! I have a texture issue with beans as well and can not eat them. Beanless Chili is the best Corey! I thought I was the only one that couldn't eat beans for that reason. Looks like you guys had a great time in Alaska. Sometimes you do have to step away from the camera and enjoy the moment. I have wondered about all the people that youtube and it would seem they spend a lot of time filming, I would get bored with it I think. Keep up the good work, I love your photography!!!
I've been to the fryeburg fair, so different from the " fairs" here in Florida. Your videos are GREAT, your still pictures are AWESOME - You should submit them for publishing, they ARE that great. Love watching your travels, you family is grand.
Cindy Bernd awesome that you have been to the Fryeburg Fair! Hoping to make it this year! Thank you so much for your kind words and for joining us on our journey! 😃
If I remember your trip was in end of August? I loved Nathan and Marisa’s videos and yours are terrific too. We went end of May and weather was the same cold and wet. But so beautiful. What a joy your kids experienced God’s creation.
Christine Pastrama yes, this was our trip from July until September. Thank you so much for the compliment and we are so glad you have been able to go and see it for yourself! The video and photos don’t do it justice! We are so grateful for the opportunity to create these experiences for our girls. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment! 🙏
You two do a really great job with these videos ! i saw today Nathan & Marissa are heading up towards Maine in their new rig...possible get together again with you guys ????
I can literally feel my heart aching right now I'm so jealous of your trip from Banff to Alaska. I put one of those kayaks in my Amazon cart. I will buy it soon so hope you get a little kick back! Costco has inflatable paddle boards currently. Trying to get my son to buy one.
The ice caves were so neat. I would have taken a cup with me to catch some of the drips from the roof. Just to drink some of the water and think that the last time it was water, may have been millennia ago.
Hi guys this is #glampingwithblueagave and even though i've been watching your videos for a long while I finally subscribed!!! :) Truly love your travels. The bears and blue ice cave adventures are nothing short than WOW.
All subscribed in Instagram I think...and way done been following you guys from the start and when LJMJ had ya in their vlogs!!! You guys are great...but have no idea if I followed the instagram instructions...I get so confused by @ and # and such...oh well gonna miss ya in Portland...c'mon up to Bass Harbor...brrrr only 39 this am...lol
Wow, Thank you so much for replying Lily and Leila. I also want to meet you one day! You can ask Becca and her sisters what my name is cause I don’t want to say it on public. I hope you have a wonderful day! 😁😁😁
pukwudjivc we haven’t done many petting zoos at fairs as they were always small and packed at our Maine fairs. The animals at our fairs are there for judging and there are hundreds and hundreds of cows, horses, pigs, goats, and sheep. You can walk through the barns for hours just seeing the livestock and their owners. That was our favorite. 😃
Hello ! I will resume my thinking 🤔 in one phrase... I agree whit all the comments you can read from all the others ! 👍👍👍 ATB Hélène et Serge 💑 From Boisbriand Québec Canada 🇨🇦 👍😉🏔🎥
Finding Our Someday Forgot to tell...I have the same music as you in the beginning in one of my videos of Teton National Park . I am editing on YT our 84 days trip that we did last year in the Canadian Rockies and western United States whit our camping trailer and still have another half to do ...🤪 Would love one day to go camping to Alaska like you did ! ATB Hélène et Serge 💑
Jeff Martin making one right now, today or tomorrow. We went back home and picked up some work, so I didn’t have any extra time to edit. Sorry for the delay!
I am sorry you were disappointed with the Alaska State Fair. We look forward to it each year and I find it sad that visitors from outside compair it to take lower 48 state fairs and find it lacking. No we do not have a lot of farm animals, we do not have a lot of farms. We have other industries that support our state. I am sorry you had unsatisfactory weather, didn't have good cell phone connections and the rest. Alaska is a wild country. While you can travel the lower 48 and always be connected, we like knowing we can get away from the rest of the world by a quick plane ride to some lake or river where you can fish for salmon without having to rub shoulders with hundreds of others. Or listen to someone doing business while you are fishing. I guess it is what you think is normal and take for granted. As for the weather, you have to count on cold and rain and feel grateful when the sun shines. I hope the trip was not mostly disappointment, Alaska is an Amazing place, taken for exactly what it is.
Linda Hickman, are you watching the same video I am? At no time did I perceive Corey and Jess’s observations as either complaining or criticisms. To the contrary, all I’ve heard are expressions of awe of your state. There’s a difference between pointing out differences between areas and criticizing one over the other. They haven’t done the latter. Instead it’s been and endless stream of video, photos, and narration about how amazing Alaska is. Between Corey kayaking amidst the icebergs or Jess becoming giddy climbing alongside a glacier (in a previous episode), and everything in between, their episodes have been the next best thing to a Chamber of Commerce advertisement for Alaska tourism. Clearly you love your state, and with good reason. But please don’t take matter-of-fact observations they make (“it’s raining”, “cell service is weak in this location”, “the fair is smaller than what you may find in the lower 48”) as criticisms. They’re not. They’re just facts - facts added to a glossy film brochure of the wonders of Alaska. Not to put too fine a point on this, prior to seeing their videos I told my wife I didn’t have a particularly burning desire to make the long trek to Alaska. After watching their journey, I’m ready to dog sled there.
@@LeoCloutier I am sorry you read into my response as saying they were complaining. I said I was sorry they were disappointed. To me that is not the same thing.
Linda Hickman I sincerely apologize if somehow our video made you think that we were in any way disappointed in our time in Alaska. I hope you are able to watch some of our other videos as well to really solidify just how much we loved your beautiful state and how it was even beyond what we had imagined it would be. As far as the fair goes, we commented on how it was different then our fair but our disappointment was solely based on missing the big vegetables which was entirely our fault for not doing our research. As far as the weather goes, no matter where you are, the weather is a wild card and you have to play what you are dealt. Our last weeks in Alaska were a bit wet but we still made wonderful memories in incredible places with good friends. And we have mentioned it before, but it is worth repeating that Alaskans are the most hospitable people we have met so far on the road. You have a wonderful state and we are grateful that we had the opportunity to explore it! 😃
Linda Hickman boy did you take their commentaries wrong. I saw the whole Alaska experience as being unforgettable and desiring no changes. There may have been some compare and contrast, but nothing negative as you have conjured.
Hi Lily and Layla, I love your videos, I really want to become your friend, btw I’m friends with Becca and her sisters so I hope I get to meet you give one day. Please reply, thank you!!!!😁😁

What kind of inflatable kayaks where those and how hard were they to steer
Jeffery Cundiff RV Family Dream we put the link in the description and I thought they steered just fine!

Leo Cloutier 👊
Linda Hickman boy did you take their commentaries wrong. I saw the whole Alaska experience as being unforgettable and desiring no changes. There may have been some compare and contrast, but nothing negative as you have conjured.
