Bam!! She's right on the money. Every turn exactly the same, right on the beat and no traveling. She's extraordinary, not only technically, but as an artist as well. I wish I could see her dance in person.
Tiler Peck is such an amazing dancer. She attacked this clip. When you hear her interviews and look at her natural mannerisms she screams femininity in such an innocent almost shy manner, but watching this clip she takes this role and totally kills it. She's seductive, strong, and just completely takes this to a dark place. Her technique and artistry are perfect. This is by far my favorite clip of the "Black Swan" she just takes my breath away☆
@@miavas4851 'still stand up today'?!?! She is not only still dancing: this was *only* about eight years ago. She's not a ballerina from the Fifties or Sixties.
kudos to you for being able to count them! I get lost in the beauty of Tiler's fouettes. I had the pleasure of seeing her dance live. She is such a beautiful dancer. Her technique and musicality are so phenomenal.
She is a total pro! Ive seen her perform in person and she is amazinggggg. I dont feel that she was disappointed, she seems so cheerful and the smile looks genuine which is consistent in any interview of her but no one besides her will ever know what she felt
@ForeverStayStrong16 please do not think of the Russian ballet companies as the best. Russian ballet is the same corrupted as all in Russia. Talents are truly RARE. Go to French for perfection
Actually the tempo is the speed the coda SHOULD go. What's insane is the way it's usually slowed down so Russian 'ballerinas' can get through it with their inadequate techniques 😁😁
Because they used to have their staples (Sara Mearns, Ashley Bouder and Teresa Reichlen) for this ballet; but then, Lauren Lovett, Megan Fairchild and Tiler got the rare opportunity of also doing it during 2019-2020 season
Chase grew up in a wealthy family so maybe it didn't affect him that much, the one who threw everything away was Amar. He had to hustle a lot more to become principal yet still decided to be a shady douchebag. A shame.
Not really. Overrated rich blond prettyboy who got where he did mostly on his looks. Saw him dance several times--vastly inferior to many male corps dancers at both NYCB *and* ABT. Douche nozzle--GOOD RIDDANCE.

@@ktw70 Yo, genius. I responded to a comment about the talentless Copeland . If you're so imbecilic you can't see that Copeland is mediocre enough that she should barely ever even have made soloist at a medium-sized ballet company, you really are wasting everyone's time by showing your ignorance publicly. I can name you twenty Black ballerinas who were all vastly superior to Copeland, and that's without thinking about it. Her 'position' is that of a publicity/attention whore who parlayed social media into a promotion to principal when she was barely ever soloist material. She's old, she's way over the hill, and she was always appallingly mediocre.
I'm sorry, but she should get a freaking medal for those fouettes! She's amazing through-out, a dynamo!

The black swan's dramatic final pose at 1:15 is my favorite moment...and Tiler Peck does it SO WELL.

Impeccable Peck! Stunning! A big fan!
Thirty-eight gorgeous fouettes with multiple repeated doubles. Peck is a marvel.
Her fouettes still stand up today. Marvelous dancer.

She’s so exciting to watch!!!
NAILED IT
I know zilch about ballet but am utterly captivated by this woman's mesmerizing control and incredible grace. What a dancer!
She's sooooo fantastically talented and utterly joyful when she dances. Love love love to watch her love to dance 😄
So good.
Chills...Tiler is so special and dances this better than most.
Goodness, the way she transitioned from multiples to singles and right on the music too. She’s amazing!
And in such a speedy version. Other companies dont have the music so fast
Best fuettees ever seen on YT
Amazing fouettes,bravooooooo
I fell in love.
Something new.
Love the crowd! And of course the dancers too!
Chills...The best Black Swan pd in history!
Perfection!
holy mother the energy of those fouttés
Incredible ❤️
Amazing!
❤❤❤
That was amazing.
I could watch tiler fouetté forever I tried to count the rotations, failed
lauren Stephens
I counted, she did 38 rotations.

@@laurenelizabeth289 She has a ton of inner strength (in addition to beauty). I think a lot of guys look for that. Or maybe it's just me.
She's so dynamic!
Now THIS is how you nail those fouettes.
She has the most invigorating energy on stage
OMG and she stays on the music!!! Is there more of this performance posted anywhere?
No, as far as I know this is the only clip of Tiler's Swan Lake performance that NYCB has released!
@ForeverStayStrong16 'We'??? No one sentient or cultivated sees Russian asparagus-ballerina divabitches as 'the best' in any way.

❤️❤️
This is tha fastest tempo I have ever seen. Why is it so fast?
That's just how NYCB chooses to do most of their productions, faster and more athletic.
@@eurekamreum5458 Thank you. I thinks is much more difficult
I wish their tempo was a bit slower so I could appreciate the dancers a bit more. Tiler is amazing
Balanchine insisted on musically correct tempi to respect the composer's intentions.
Because they refuse to slow it down to accommodate inadequate techniques, unlike every Russian company :D
the tempo is quite insane

I wonder why it took her so long to debut in this role? She should have been dancing this for years.

I can’t believe a handsome looking man is such a monster on the inside.
Don't get out much do you? LOL!
I can't really appreciate this dance knowing what Chase Finlay did to his ex-girlfriend years ago.

radiant onion we do not want Chase over here in Europe 😬
And by the way, Tsikaridze isn‘t a Russian sounding name, it’s Georgian 😉
🤍
So american!
Shame that she danced this Chase Finlay
She has tiny motors in her ankles.
I just want to say that the color of her face doesn't match the skin color of her neck, shoulder, and arms. The makeup department needs improvement. 😄
Most dancers do their own makeup and the department just do some enhancements if needed
Tiler does her own makeup!
The music is so fast, looks like a race to do the steps. As a viewer, I can't really savor the movements.
It's the correct tempo
