That trap jaw is incredible. Love the new packaging. It needed an update. This feels like a true to form line now. Like the third season of trek. Sculpts and articulation improved and finally the packaging. Should be good to the 7th now.
Love the trap jaw & Skeletech! And the Man-At-Arms is really sweet too! Art on the boxes is great and an improvement from the previous ones. I wish you had the vid broke up into chapters so I could skip easily to the different fig reviews
Great review as usual Dan! As somebody that wasn't back to collecting during the Classics era, I am really glad to see what Masterverse is shaping up to be. Although figures from first several waves were far from perfect, specially when compared to their Classics counterparts, I am glad I supported the line and got to see the recent releases become so much better. :) I do wish Trap Jaw and Man at arms got individual reviews but we had a short conversation about this in the comments of another video so I understand why you did it this way and I support the decision. Keep 'em coming Dan! :)
Wow! These new figures are dope! Really looking forward to the New Eternia versions. Duncan & Trap-Jaw look awesome. Sooo glad they got rid of the one slapping hand😄

It looks like Mattel is working on improving the line as they go along. Hopefully that is what they are doing. This would be proper behavior for a company producing products for fans, collectors, and customers.
Great to see Pixel Dan review this upcoming Masterverse wave. I initially wanted to say no to Sorceress Teela since I painted my own custom version last year, but I'm tempted to want the official version to customize further. I only hope that her drop-down hip joints will be durable when posing her.
Some great new figures coming out. I have trouble picking a favorite since I'd like to get all of them. I do especially like Trap Jaw and Skeletek though.
I like the new packaging, but if I can't see the figure or most of it, I expect there to be no quality control issues especially for a flagship brand like Masters.
I love the new jaw for trapjaw so creative. I noticed the inside of the mouth is less gorey then the classic version since that was aimed @ adults not kids
It seems to me that the amount of accessories included with the New Eternia figures is decreasing. Anyway, I don't think Man-At-Arms was supposed to look like a conquistador, his armour, asymmetrical, covering one shoulder and that grate in the front almost covering his face, was instead inspired by roman gladiators (a murmillo for an instance), which would also make more sense for the character.
I love the new Eternia line Im extremely happy as a true fan of He Man that we have so many options these days I have all of the vintage MOTU and POP except for the 2 giants so hopefully I can collect all these and the most exciting of part is knowing it's all gonna be passed down to my child and her children and her children
@BigColorfulToyShow it actually has 2 heads. One helmeted one and a non-helmeted head with a pony tail. If u get the Mondo exclusive u get a Snake MAA head. None of the heads have removable helmets. I do have every Mondo figure released thus far

You mentioned that Mondo "has also that feature to remove helmet from the helmet". There is NO head where the helmet can be put on and taken off the head. All we got is a head sculpt with pony tail. NO helmet can be put on that pony tail head.
I was really hoping this review would show more about how much they changed for the new eternia figs or if they have the same bodies. Guess Ill try and find another review.

I *love* the New Eternia Masterverse sub-line. I might back off a bit in the Revelations sub-line tho, not only to save a bit, but my Origins collection has grown SO much there is barely any room to display (and enjoy) my New Eternia figures - everything else was sadly relegated to a box.
I have pre-ordered the Orko/Gwildor Revelations 2-Pack, tho. Not only is Orko half of my favorite duo (alongside Adam) - but GWILDOR!?!?! I mean, c’mon! I just hope Revolution doesn’t mess up what Billy Barry started.
I hate that all the other characters in this New Eternia line keep turning out amazing...but somehow He-Man himself always ends up with something off. Mostly the wonky head sculpts that never quite "do it" for me.

I used the new eternia “clean shaven” man at arms head in Masterverse new adventures he-man (with the helmet and armor) and it honestly is a better he-man likeness than any Masterverse he-man likeness.
Artwork on the front of the box is so much better. The old Masterverse packaging always felt a little weird and sterile. Especially with the UPC being on the top of the front tag, making the box feel "backwards".
After MOTU Classics, Masterverse New Eternia is my favorite. To be honest, I never liked the Masterverse line, they just didn't look right. But New Eternia is killing it. So far, my favorites are Beast Man, Buzz Off and Faker.
I am so glad they release more MOTU. But after being a completeist of the Classics line (Including the Vintage line and 200X), I have reached saturation. I do purchase figures, but far from all.
You could have put the heads N.E. Man-At-Arms on the masterverse body. I like the Man-At-Arms masterverse body/armor better. But the N.E. heads are much better than the tiny masterverse one.

If so, dang i kinda think there was a miss opportunity to add that, but nah that's just me and i think that be asking a lot lol. When it came to revelations Trap Jaw, i only did like the blue color on his skin compared to the new eternia version but that's ok really, it's no big deal as it's amazing nevertheless. When it comes to the new Masterverse line, i confess i prefer the old packaging and i mean you're not wrong the artwork is something essential to MOTU, yet i feel like the window kinda ruins off a bit for the work, still in the end best to have window than no window. Perhaps out of topic, but since I've been into this line and i hadn't shared this to anyone, i wanted to give out what I'd love to see if Masterverse can tackle on these characters to be made in the future, like for instance: New Eternia: Mosquitor, Scare glow, Ninjor, Roboto (especially seeing how Man-E-Faces and Trap Jaw of this subline have the same legs) and even Hordak in his original colors. Princess of power: and oh damn there is a lot I'd love to see for this subline being Flutterina, Castaspella, Mermista, Netossa, Bow, Horde trooper, Scorpia, Leech and Mantenna.
Teela and Trap Jaw are the stars for me. The New Eternia villains are something else. The heroes have been a bit meh for me. But I love what they're doing with the more freaky characters.
Why is trap jaws mech arm so massive, and skeletors whole new body is tech and it's sleek and small? Skeletor should be a steel monstrosity, then Trap Jaw would make sense, and skeletor would be way cooler.

There is not 1 new character that we don't already have in this wave. This is a very weak & boring wave. Sure, they look nice but how many times are we expected to piss away over $25 on the same damn characters??? Every time Mattel puts money into a repeat character it lowers the chance of getting another character that we don't have. Doesn't anybody remember what happened to the 200x line? My favorite character never even made it into the line because all Mattel did was release 50 million different He-Mans & Skeletors. They're doing the same damned thing again.
What are you talking about? They just released the deluxe Man-At-Arms a few months ago & we already have a 3rd. And we're sure to be getting Man-At-War in the white armor very soon knowing Mattel. You could be getting a 3rd Mer-Man in no time.

These new Man-at-Arms and Trap Jaw are really good. The alternative helmet even looks like the one I could see in the first mini comics... I love it.
Trap Jaw's sword hilt also attaches to his mechanical arm at the base.
The nice artwork is covering up the action figure.

The New Eternia line has become one of my favorite lines out now. Man At Arms and Trap Jaw are perfect.

Dan the back of the box is not toy photography. It’s actually CGI rendering of the figure which is better I love CGI.

My Man at arms came with 3 heads and 1 helmet...There were 2 mustacheless head sculpts so annoying not having the other helmet.
