RUNAWAY Trailer Brake install Part 1.
trailer brake install took almost an entire day including wiring.

I agree. I have done this before, but it is only a 595$ option from Runaway for electric brakes (Rouser). Then just tidy up the wiring and connections to ones liking. This will help save tow vehicle brakes on mountain passes, but most importantly during an emergency panic stop the trailer will stay behind you rather than wrapped around the backside of your tow vehicle especially on slick roads.
