Star Citizen is an Open Development Alpha Project by Cloud Imperium. It is 2 Games really though, the Persistent Universe that aims to build a First Person MMO Space Sim that encompasses gameplay in ship & on ground, economy and pretty much anything else you can think of. It's built in the StarEngine (a modified Lumberyard Engine). You'll see massive Space Ships that you can fly with friends, land on planets, explore or whatever your way to whatever goal you choose. It's available to try in it's current Alpha State now, you can give feedback & influence the direction of the game BUT it is VERY ALPHA.
Squadron 42 is the Single Player Campaign of Star Citizen & the Spiritual Successor of Wing Commander. The Idea is the game is immersive, cinematic, beautiful & seamless... NO LOADING SCREENS once in game.
Both Games are currently in the Alpha of their development.
I am suspecting to see something more mainstream for Star Citizen's PU by the end of 2024 with permanent progression, though it will be a while after that before the game is considered "feature complete" which would be closer to 2025 in my opinion.
The are no dates for Squadron 42's Release Yet BUT it is now Feature Complete.
I am an Independent Content Creator & Star Citizen Fan. @@zenhakuden I don’t think I’ve ever been able to refill O2 in the mines. But yeah 100% the entire thing should be bypassed until further fleshed out and polished. Like the med bed respawn thing.

I really liked this video - seeing you do things in the verse and getting that more organic discussions was fun to watch.
One thing that I've always loved about these events is the attention to detail to how the expos look. The layout, wayfinding, branding...everything is so believable.
The polaris was truly breath taking to look at!
Loving the look of the Nursa. The MPUV-T is cool too. Though I wish it was buyable separately, I do like that both of the Warbonds included the new Invictus Flight Jacket Steel for your Web Hangar.
Polaris fly-by turned into a showroom display! It's like they're thinking about actually releasing the game to commercial at some point.
Hopefully they keep up the development momentum!

They very much look like they are rushing it out with incomplete systems and ideas talking about 1.0 when they are really not even close to the dream they pitch. I believe they know they are at market cap and no new players just lots of alt accounts to be had. If they were getting alot of new players we would see more lti token bait through the year... They are also being investigated in the UK for fraud and have been since last year if they don't produce something they are in trouble as the giant tax break the UK gives for development of products and businesses it's not the people that triggered that but the government financial services of the UK in the USA you would call them the IRS....ya know the guys who took down Capone lol
Only Warbond CCU I saw for the first day was Polaris for 700 instead of 750. Perseus 675 being the closest to jump to it.
Fun fact: The turret gunner on the Scorpius can set a keybind to be able to swivel it around from up top to underneath so you get full coverage.
Seeing the polaris and the cracking job CIG have done makes me even more hyped for the perseus.

Got my hands on a Phoenix which I've been wanting for ages along with the Invictus paint! Love the idea of VIP touring so that and the E1 are perfect for me. Also got the new MPUV to help with the Railen when cargo updates come in

The return of any-tiered medbed respawns is causing me to do a HUGE reshuffle in the hangar. Just ditched a couple things to make way for a Perseus. We'll see if I still have it after IAE though. Great stuff, Bored! Be well, Citizens! 😉👍

Hopped in last night. It was rough. Keybinds were kind of randomly changed between old keys and new keys. The new interaction system was barely functional and if it responded at all, it was with a long delay (server fps was 5-7, so maybe that was the cause). Had to resort to holding the interaction button and doing it that way, which did work. Character creator was great though. Needs some expanded choices, but we know those are coming.

I am surprised that people still do not know that elevators in SC are not actual real elevators, but instanced "teleporting" spaces, which is why you were getting the same people in both elevators. Took me 2 days to figure that one out after starting off in SC.
I think I've flown everything so far!!
On vacation for both 3.23.0 and .1 drops. Haven't played yet (home tomorrow). Can't wait to try out all the new goodness!

It took almost 1 hour before I could view the pictures on the website. Another RUclipsr did show the Polaris since the hall was in the PTU. I commented on the other RUclipsrs video but it looks like the Polaris has a couple of rails under the cockpit for something. Extra torpedoes maybe? I will have to look in game for the seam but I thought the Polaris was supposed to be able to separate the front part. Looks better in the video than the pictures we have has so far. I still think the Mantis could get a small redesign and become a passenger shuttle for a larger ship.
Took the opportunity this fleet week to upgrade a couple ships to LTI for myself. I know LTI isn't a big deal, but it only cost me a few bucks after everything was said and done. Might as well get it while I can!

I hope that once we have many more systems that we'll have several conventions and non-combat events that'll bring players together like ILW and IAE, maybe have racing tournaments that changes it's track every weekend. The hitching only happened at Bevic for me, once I got back out and did missions it was fine
I can't wait to fly my Torpedo Dorito till then i'll have to go wander around the hall looking at it.
I had the same hitching problems too. Its fine when you stay in one hall but it hitches as you move around and load in more stuff i think?

I backed this game in 2017, I stopped playing over a year before COVID because I got bored with lack of things in game, a week ago before 3.23 I decided to check it out again, moved my game folder from my old mec HD and put it one of my SSD's...and I loved it...

Good video as I'm staying away from Fleet Week this go round. It bothers me more this year that CIG sells expensive ships that wont be ready for play for year(s). But I do wish others have a good experience with it all.

So far fleet week looks good. The extra people really makes it chug sometimes but it has gotten a lot better from the last fleet week I remember.
The Polaris' sitting in that showroom is menacing. Too bad I'll probably never be able to afford one 😢
So they made it sound like the changes to the med beds, mainly being able to respawn at a tier 3 bed again, was a temporary change. But the trailer video for the medical Ursa basically revolves around the respawning feature. So what do you think? Are we supposed to be able to respawn there or not lol?

For being a hauler variant, it's a surprise to see Taurus on display too, since this is a military event. But hey, suppose it's because logistics is part of the military too and Constellation variant thus gets a free pass.
